Based on the graphic novel I, Frankenstein by Kevin Grevioux, the movie is set in a dystopic present where vigilant gargoyles and ferocious demons rage in a battle for ultimate power, Victor Frankenstein's creation Adam (Eckhart) finds himself caught in the middle as both sides race to discover the secret to his immortality. Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Jai Courtney, Socratis Otto, Mahesh Jadu, Caitlin Stasey and Aden Young co-star.
Gone are the neck bolts and the lumbering gait in giant block shoes. Eckhart's monster is a quick and agile fighter, and the star trained for six months to get in shape and learn how to convincingly wield the signature stick weapons his character uses in the film. He confessed to ET that the process was "very exhausting film."
Arriving on 3D Blu-ray, DVD and Video On Demand May 13, bonus features include filmmaker commentary and the featurettes Creating a Monster and Frankenstein's Creatures.
