'Doubling Down With the Derricos' airs Tuesdays on TLC.
Things are getting scary for the Derricos.
In an exclusive clip from next week's episode of TLC's Doubling Down With the Derricos, a family trip for skiing and snow playing in Mt. Charleston goes left when Karen collapses.
In the clip, the Derricos have just arrived for their fun when Dallas -- one of the pair's 12-year-old twins -- calls out for Deon, telling the patriarch, "Mommy's hurt."
As Deon turns to see what is going on, the camera pans to catch Karen gently lowered to the ground by producers after she "passed out."
The family, which includes Deon and Karen's 14 children and their grandmother, "GG," hurries to her side. When Deon asks his wife what's wrong, she whispers that her "heart" is "beating real fast."
Production calls for an ambulance as Deon helps carry Karen back to the car to rest upright and drink something hydrating.
"She's so lethargic," he says as Karen admits that she "wants to go," and she feels "so weak."
"All the thoughts that I'm having: Did she have a heart attack? Did she have a stroke? Maybe she was dehydrated. Maybe it's a high elevation. I don't know what the hell it is," Deon confesses in a side interview. "Whatever the problem is, I don't want any of our children to see her like this."
"First thing I started thinking about is the kids, because they don't need to be without their mother, not even for a day," GG adds in another side interview.
As the clip comes to an end, an ambulance can be seen pulling up with its sirens blaring.
This season on Doubling Down With the Derricos, the pair is balancing moving into their fixer-upper home with raising their children.
Deon and Karen's eldest daughter, Darian, 18, works to live out her dreams in New York City. Their 13-year-old son, Derrick, is ready to shave. The older twins, 12-year-old Dallas and Denver, are starting their journey with puberty too. The 10-year-old quints, Deonee, Daician, Daiten, Deniko and Dariz, are trailing close behind their big brothers in the "girl crazy" department. The younger twins, 6-year-old Diez and Dior, and 4-year-old triplets Dawsyn, De'Aren and Dyver are growing up fast.
The next episode of Doubling Down With the Derricos, "Get Them Digits," airs Tuesday, June 18 at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
