'The Idea of You' star looks back at her best looks and funniest viral moments in her first ever TikTok post.
Gird your loins, everyone, Anne Hathaway is finally on TikTok!
The 41-year-old actress joined the social media platform in epic fashion this week, with a video recapping some of her biggest fashion statements, funniest viral moments and favorite acting roles since 2020.
Set to "Sun Bleached Flies" by Ethel Cain (proving she's already a bona fide TikTok girlie), Hathaway had no trouble poking fun at herself, highlighting those epic dance floor moments, her tense encounters with paparazzi and her propensity to cry at the drop of a hat.
On the flip side, she also gave herself some flowers for some of her best looks: that Versace stunner at the 2023 Met Gala, a pretty in pink look for a Valentino show in Rome, and her "dripping in Bulgari" look in Venice.
As for some of her favorite roles over the last few years, the actress highlights "channeling her Scorpio energy" in The Witches, teaming up with Jared Leto in WeCrashed, and finally, producing and premiering her new rom-com, The Idea of You.
Hathaway concludes the epic video with a funny candid clip where she "realizes" the one thing she didn't do over the last few years: "I forgot to join TikTok!"
In The Idea of You, Hathaway plays a 40-year-old divorced mother who falls in love with a 24-year-old pop star (played by Red, White and Royal Blue's swoonworthy Nicholas Galatzine).
In addition to experience as a producer, it seems the film -- which obviously places focus on the age difference in the central relationship -- has also afforded the actress a chance to reflect on her own life and growth since she began her career.
"I certainly am way more comfortable in my skin in my 40s than I was in my 20s. I felt lost in my 20s," Hathaway shared with ET at the film's New York premiere. "I felt this pressure to have it all figured out and I thought that because I didn't know everything about myself, I was somehow doing something wrong."
"But it turns out, that's what your life's for," she reflected.
These days, Hathway's no. 1 commitment is family life -- with husband Adam Shulman and their two young sons.
"When I started out, when I first became a mom, people were like, 'Oh, how are you going to balance it?' and I'm just like, 'Balance? What are you talking about?'" she noted. "One, as much as I love my career, as much as I love what I do, and you know I'm a beast about it, there's no contest."
