The actress was supposed to appear on 'Good Morning America' to promote 'Dune: Part Two.'
Zendaya has suffered a little setback on her Dune: Part Two press tour.
On Monday, the 27-year-old actress shared that she had to cancel her appearance on Good Morning America due to a brief illness.
"How sweet is @zendaya to send us this video? We'll miss you tomorrow and hope you feel better soon! ❤️," GMA posted to Instagram.
In the clip, Zendaya shared a special message for the viewers who were looking forward to seeing her on the morning show.
"Hello GMA. Sorry I can't be there. I've come down with something and I completely lost my voice. But I hope you guys have a beautiful morning and hope you enjoy Dune: Part Two," she said, with a noticeably raspy voice.
Zendaya did not disclose the illness or if she would make up her time on the show.
On Sunday, Zendaya and her Dune: Part Two co-stars --Timothée Chalamet, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh and Austin Butler -- were a stylish group as they attended the premiere of the film in New York City.
Keeping up with her fabulously futuristic style theme, Zendaya wore a long white dress with gold accents on hem by designer Stéphane Rolland. Complementing her look, Zendaya paired the dress with a stack of gold rings by Bulgari and gold Jimmy Choo shoes.
The Dune: Part Two press run has been Zendaya's personal runway. So far, the Euphoria star has turned out a variety of looks, including a couture robot in a vintage style by Givenchy and a leather jumpsuit for a twinning moment with Chalamet.
Dune: Part Two is now in theaters.
