The former One Direction band member is coming to his ex-girlfriend's defense.
Zayn Malik is now coming to Gigi Hadid's defense after posting a series of vague tweets on Wednesday.
The "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" singer quickly shot back at haters, telling critics to leave his ex-girlfriend "the f**k alone."
"My tweet was not about @GigiHadid so leave her the f**k alone," Malik, 26, wrote on Twitter on Thursday. "She is the most amazing woman I've ever known. And does nothing but love and support me when lord knows I don’t deserve it."
The former One Direction band member's expletive-laced rant continued, as he added, "So if you have anything to say @ me and I’ll put you the f**k straight If you know nothing shut your f**king mouth."
Malik's angry diatribe came just a day after sharing several tweets about an unnamed person, causing many to incorrectly speculate that he was referring to Hadid, 23, whom he split with back in January after dating on and off for the past few years.
"How about you all go f**K yourselves with your irrelevant bulls**t," he wrote. "This ain’t a place for feelings and you aren’t the person you said you were. To any dumb f**k out there that wants to make they’re [sic] own stories up."
The confusion appeared to stem after the fashion model was spotted out with longtime friend and Selena Gomez's ex, Samuel Krost, though Hadid was quick to put those rumors to rest.
"If you outlets are going to continue writing bs headlines every time I’m seen with a friend of the male gender then there’s gunna [sic] be a lot of unneeded confusion," she tweeted on Wednesday.
Earlier last month, fans couldn't help but wonder if Malik and Hadid had reconciled after the singer tweeted "Love you" to her just two months after their most recent split.
"After trying for a long time, the couple just couldn’t make it work," a source told ET in January. "Zayn has been dealing with personal things for a while and Gigi has become a comfort blanket for him. Gigi will always support him but she has realized only Zayn can help Zayn."
