Actress Samantha Hanratty announced her exciting pregnancy news on Instagram on Monday.

We're misty-eyed because Yellowjackets star Samantha Hanratty is expecting her first child with husband Christian DeAnda! The actress and mom-to-be took to Instagram on Monday to share a heartwarming video showing the moment she discovered she was pregnant.

In the clip, Hanratty, 28, documents a few of the ups and downs in her pregnancy journey -- beginning with her taking the pregnancy test in a bathroom and cheering herself on (from off-camera) for not accidentally spilling her urine everywhere.

The hilarious moment of hope is quickly halted when the test comes back negative and a crying Hanratty tries to make herself feel better in her bed, saying she'll try again the next week.

The video jumps ahead some days to the next round of pregnancy testing in her bathroom, and this time the actress looks stunned before holding up the positive test and repeating "no way!" in gleeful disbelief.

"Still in shock and its been 4 months!" Hanratty captioned the post. "I will be sharing more from my journey because it has been a wild one! Come follow this new adventure."

Hanratty -- who plays the teenaged Misty Quigley in Yellowjackets -- wed DeAnda in November 2023. According to People, the pair exchanged "I dos" in a small ceremony at Terra Mia Vineyards in Paso Robles, California, surrounded by 140 guests -- including family members, friends and some of Hanratty's co-stars.

The cute couple first met after Hanratty moved out to California in 2020 amid the pandemic lockdowns. She and DeAnda connected over a dating app, and sparked a romance that led to their next big adventure.

Congrats to the happy couple!
