The 'Bad Boys' star shared a sweet photo featuring their relatives over the holiday weekend.
It was a full house for Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith over the holiday weekend! The Bad Boys: Ride or Die star took to Instagram to share a glimpse into the couple's Easter festivities, which involved getting together with their whole family.
The assembled family members included the couple's kids, Willow Smith and Jaden Smith, and Trey Smith, whom Will shares with his ex-wife, Sheree Zampino. Zampino is also in the photo, as is Will's mother, Caroline Bright, and Jada's mom, Adrienne "Gammy" Banfield-Norris.
The solo shot from Will shows the family beaming into the camera and sporting Easter-themed headbands. Some have bunny ears in various colors, while others have headbands with brightly colored Easter eggs, newly hatched chicks, carrots, and more.
"It's my Mom 'n'em," Will captioned the sweet holiday photo. "Happy Easter errybody!"
Banfield-Norris also took to Instagram to share a more detailed peek into the family's get-together. The former Red Table Talk co-host posted a video to her page that showed off the beautifully decorated table that seated everyone for Easter dinner.
"Hope you were able to spend time with your special ones! Sending lots of love to our family from the west coast to the east," she captioned the montage. "Happy Easter, all! Peace and continued blessings🙏🏾✨."
Things have calmed down considerably for the Smith family since Jada shocked the world last October when she revealed that, in 2016, she and the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star privately decided to separate.
The mother of two shared the news while promoting her recently released memoir, Worthy, and explained that the Academy Awards slap seen around the world saved her marriage.
While many in the entertainment industry saw the incident in which Will slapped Chris Rock at the 2022 Academy Awards after the comedian made a joke about Jada's shaved head as both a scandal and fodder for comedic stand-ups, the moment marked a turning point for the couple's long-standing marriage.
In a December 2023 interview with You Magazine, the Set It Off actress revealed that after that shocking altercation between the men -- which happened amid their years-long private separation -- she was once again Will's wife.
"I nearly didn't even attend the Oscars that year, but I'm glad I did," Jada confessed. "I call it the 'holy slap' now because so many positive things came after it."
"That moment of the sh*t hitting the fan is when you see where you really are," she told the outlet. "After all those years trying to figure out if I would leave Will's side, it took that slap for me to see I will never leave him. Who knows where our relationship would be if that hadn't happened?"
While Jada is adamant about not speaking for Will regarding his mindset behind the slap, she explained that the incident helped solidify her perspective on their relationship after a tumultuous period of uncertainty. "We've been together 30 years so, even if someone new came along, neither of us is going anywhere. We are a family that needs to look out for one another and always will be. Sometimes it takes a crisis for you to see that," she said.
She also revealed that she and the Will author plan to write a book together. "Will and I plan [to write] a book together called Don't Try This at Home," Jada said. "He has been on a journey. I have been on a journey. We want to write something where he puts the male side, I put the woman's side, and then these universal issues are resolved."
