Bertinelli was joined by Wolfgang and his wife, Andraia Allsop, on the red carpet at the Oscars.
Valerie Bertinelli can't stop, won't stop gushing over her son, Wolfgang Van Halen. Even if some people out there are "sick" of hearing it.
The 63-year-old made that crystal clear Sunday while on the red carpet with, yes, Wolfgang and his wife, Andraia Allsop, while speaking to ET's Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner on the red carpet at the 96th Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
Valerie, of course, gushed over Wolfgang's success, particularly his involvement in the Oscar-nominated song "I'm Just Ken" from Barbie. Wolfie, as Valerie affectionately calls him, contributed his guitar skills to the track alongside the Guns N' Roses shredder, Slash. They also appear in the music video. With that kind of success, it's no wonder Valerie's beaming like any proud mom.
"I mean, people are going to get sick of it, but I don't care 'cause I'm so proud of him," said Valerie with a laugh in reference to constantly bragging about her son."He's been through a lot of adversity throughout all of this, and I'm really proud of the way he's handled it."
Wolfgang and Andraia tied the knot last October in Los Angeles, where 90 close friends and family members attended the ceremony. The special day held even more significance for the couple, as their wedding date coincided with their first-date anniversary, Oct. 15, 2015. Their wedding was a tribute to their enduring love and the challenges they had overcome together.
As far as what's next for the happy couple, Valerie's not one to pressure them.
"I'm shush. I can't do that," she quipped. "I have to stop [being a ]helicopter mom."
Valerie's no stranger to singing her son's praises and taking any opportunity to show him lots of love. Like earlier this month, when Valerie celebrated his original due date, which he blew past by almost two full weeks. In her tribute, Valerie posted a throwback photo of her sizable baby bump from her pregnancy with her only child -- whom she welcomed with the late rocker Eddie Van Halen in 1991, almost a decade before they split.
"Wolfie’s due date was March 3, 1991. 33 years ago," Valerie captioned the post. "We didn’t know if we were having a boy or a girl. And we waited 13 more days before we would find out and meet our new baby boy."
