Victoria Monét has canceled a run of upcoming music festival performances due to her health.
On Monday, the GRAMMY-winning songstress, 35, shared via a statement on her Instagram Story that she will no longer be performing at the Governors Ball Music Festival, Roots Picnic and The Blavity House Party Music Festival.
"I am gutted to share that I will no longer be able to perform at Governors Ball (NYC), Roots Picnic (Philadelphia) or Blavity (Nashville), this June," she wrote. "I am so sorrry! Candidly I have been dealing with some ongoing health issues that have to be addressed right now, but I will be back out there soon, that's a promise."
She continued, "Please know it wasn't an easy call but it's definitely for the best. All other shows are still moving forward as planned. See you soon."
Aside from the information given, Monét didn't share any other details.
The "On My Mama" singer was scheduled to do the run of festival appearances starting the first weekend in June. In April, Monét took the stage during the Coachella Valley Music Festival for both weekends. Shortly after weekend two, the "Smoke" singer got candid about the effects of her Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) -- and her noticeable weight gain.
"Welp..I gained a lot of weight and it went a lot of places lol," she wrote alongside an Instagram photo from her set during the second weekend of the festival.
Monét continued her post by sharing all of the places she's noticed the weight gain and used the moment to open up about a health struggle.
"Face, arms, tummy, and most effectively...datass**," she quipped.
"I usually am so critical and frustrated by it because PCOS has me really messed up, but optimistically, at least now there's two moons on stage," she said, referencing the cutout chaps and the moon placement on her stage setup.
In March, the "Coastin'" singer spoke to ET about living in the moment and taking in all the positive changes.
"It's really just feels like God's perfect plan," she told ET. "When I thought it was time, it wasn't time and now it is and I'm just happy to be here. I want to keep the momentum going, keep everybody excited and proud and do the right thing with the light."
Monét is set to return to the stage in September, according to the dates listed on her website.
