It's clear after watching this audition tape how Jason Momoa landed his Game of Thrones role. He's terrifying.
In the clip, the 35-year-old actor attempts to impress producers by doing a tribal dance called haka. This is a dance affiliated with with New Zealand's Maori people. Though he doesn't speak Dothraki during the audition, it's clear that he's perfect for the beastly role of Khal Drogo.

He's even wearing Dothraki-like garbs during his performance.
Though Momoa has been off the show for several seasons now, he's still not over his character being killed off. Earlier this year, the actor had some pretty strong words for Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin.

"After George Martin killed me, I was like 'go f**k yourself,'" he jokingly told The Huffington Post. "I'm joking. But after George killed me, I was really upset. I went to go get the book at Barnes and Noble and I was bummed that I was dead. But it's brilliant writing."
