It seems like somebody is still taking time to enjoy The View.
When the subject on the show turned to ISIS and the laws against Americans being legally able to raise ransom for their kidnapped family members, Shepherd also chimed in, reacting to a comment made by new host Rosie Perez said. She tweeted: "'Why couldn't I use my own $$$ 2get my family away from Isis?' @rosieperezbklyn girl that's rich folk-most of us have 2B at work in the a.m."
She added: "If someone kidnapped someone in my family-nobody could pay the ransom or go look for them ... we don't have that much vacation put away 2go."
Shepherd is currently starring in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella on Broadway and on Sept. 13, she had a special guest at the show. Her former View mentor Barbara Walters showed up to support Shepherd in her role as the Madame. She Instagrammed: "To look out & see my mentor, former boss & protective 'mama bear' @BarbaraJWalters in the audience ... I couldn't stop smiling @cinderellabway She loves me - she really does!!!!"
