Stephen Colbert Marries Couple On Air

Stephen Colbert married off a young couple on his Comedy Central show Thursday night, after their wedding was canceled due to the government shutdown. The Colbert Report host officiated the wedding for Mike Cassesso and MaiLien Le, and even had a special Homeland star participate in the ceremony. 

Showtime star Mandy Patinkin presented the bride and groom with a "non-denominational Jewish blessing," of which he sang! WATCH.

Patinkin explained that the blessing was about "new beginnings," only to unabashedly start promoting Homeland mid-ceremony.
