Kate Walsh Talks End of 'Private Practice'

It was announced last week that Private Practice would be coming to an end after the currently airing sixth season in January. And while Kate Walsh had previously announced she would be leaving after episode 13, finding out that Seaside Wellness will simultaneously shut its doors has been a tough pill to swallow.

"It's sad [and] bittersweet," she said at last night's launch party for Samsung Mobile's Galaxy Note II in Beverly Hills. Although it doesn't sound like Walsh had to look too far for a silver living. "It's awesome, I can't wait for the next thing."

With only a few episodes left to film, Walsh says the cast is spending as much time soaking in the experience as possible. "We're all holding hands a lot on set and trying to be as present as we can. We've been together for a long time."

Private Practice airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
