Soap Stars Get One More 'Life to Live'

Following the Great Soap Opera Massacre of 2011, a few stars from the cancelled One Life To Live will get a second life on General Hospital.

Kassie DePaiva, Roger Howarth, Michael Easton and Kristen Alderson will return as their One Life To Live characters on the surviving ABC soap for a unique story arc, with production scheduled to begin later this month, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"We have a very exciting story planned for the citizens of Port Charles, with Sonny Corinthos at the center of it! I am confident viewers and fans alike will be excited for the arrival of John (Easton), Starr (Alderson), Blair (DePaiva) and Todd (Howarth)," General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini says of weaving the enduring characters into the show. Valentini just happens to have been the exec. producer for One Life to Live for almost a decade until the show's curtain fell. Coincidence?

General Hospital airs weekdays at 2 p.m. PT/3 p.m. ET on ABC.
