Howard Stern Officially Named New Judge on 'AGT'
It was rumored last month, but now it's official -- radio host Howard Stern will join NBC's reality competition America's Got Talent as a judge, according to the Twitter account for his radio show.
The Twitter post reads, "It's official - Howard just signed on the dotted line - he is now the newest judge on America's Got Talent!"
According the Twitter account, "Howard says he'll start shooting in February and actually be traveling the country to do the audition rounds."
"Howard says he's really excited [about] the America's Got Talent job. Robin is also happy for him, but they both think Fred is jealous," another tweet reads.

The Associated Press reports that production of the live show will move from Los Angeles to New York to accommodate Stern.
Howard replaces Piers Morgan, who announced in November that he'll be leaving the show after nabbing his CNN talk show. Morgan tweeted Thursday, "Congrats to @HowardStern on landing my #AmericasGotTalent judging gig - he'll be outrageous, hilarious, dangerous & brilliant. Can't wait."
