The NBA player also addressed rumors about his relationship with ex Jordan Craig.
Tristan Thompson is speaking out.
The NBA player took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon to address rumors that he's been vacationing with his ex-girlfriend, Jordan Craig, following his split from Khloe Kardashian earlier this year. Thompson and Kardashian broke up in February after he and Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods, shared a kiss together at a party.
"I have spent the last few months training for my upcoming nba season and making sure that I am in the best shape possible. I have not been on vacations at all this summer and the current rumors spreading are 100 percent false," Thompson wrote.
"Also, when I met Khloe I was SINGLE," he added, seemingly referring to rumors that he and Kardashian started dating while he was with Craig, who is mom to his 2-year-old son, Prince. He and Kardashian welcomed their daughter, True, last year.
"The negative comments that are constantly being directed towards her are unnecessary. She does not deserve all this backlash for my wrong doings. Both Khloè and Jordan have been nothing but great mothers to my kids," Thompson said.
Thompson and Kardashian's split played out on Keeping Out With the Kardashians earlier this summer, but while emotions are still raw for Kardashian, she told ET last month that she doesn't want fans to bash Thompson or Woods.
"I personally don't watch it back because... I already know what happens and it's just a little too toxic for me to keep reliving stuff like that, so I stay off social [media]," she said. "I didn't watch it. And it's just a part of our job that we kind of have to do, so we can't just pick and choose what we want to show. That's not fair. And so it's just what it is."
"Bashing either side is not cool for me," Kardashian continued.
The mom of one thinks that at this point, it's best to avoid "negativity." "I think it's just a story being told, but anybody picking a side or... condemning any human, I think this is a part of life. I'm not saying it's a good part," she said.
