The NFL pro celebrated one of his two touchdowns during Sunday's playoff game with his lady's signature move.
Travis Kelce used Taylor Swift's signature move to shake off the haters during last Sunday's game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.
After scoring a touchdown, no. 87 held up the "Midnight" singer's signature heart hands towards the suites -- and the internet went wild.
On Wednesday's episode of the New Heights With Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, the Chiefs tight end opened up about flashing the hand gesture.
"Yeah man, I had to spread the love baby," Travis tells his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason. "You always gotta spread that love, baby. It was a lot of hate pulling up to that stadium, man. A lot of understandable hate. It was a football game. Coming into their house, they want to make it rowdy. Did it get a little disrespectful? 1000 percent. Did it get a little extra? 1000 percent. I'm not gonna say, because that's what they want. I'm not gonna relay it, but some things were said about the family -- pretty inappropriate things were said about Pat Mahomes, pretty whack."
He adds, "I get it. Coming into a hostile environment, I respect it. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't mutual. I don't hate you guys like you hate us, it was all mutual."
Making it clear that the love was felt from the Bills Mafia, Jason -- who was in the stands with them at one point -- assures his brother that they love him.
Sunday's game was one for the books as Taylor was joined for the first time in the suites by Jason and his wife, Kylie Kelce. Aside from Travis' notable hand gesture, all eyes were on the Philadelphia Eagles center, as he made his way in and out of the suites shirtless to celebrate his brother's win.
When it came to his first encounter with the pop star (who was visibly amused by Jason's celebratory antics) Travis admits he made a good first impression with Taylor -- despite his older brother not being on his "best behavior" as Kylie suggested.
"She was already telling me to be on my best behavior because we were meeting Taylor," Jason says. "She was like, 'Do not. Be on your best behavior.' I was like, 'Kylie, when I met you, the first day I met you, I was black-out drunk and fell asleep at the bar.' This is part of the charm. This is part of the Jason Kelce charm. I want to make my best first impression... This is my best chance."
The admission sends Travis into a fit of hysterics, responding, "That s**t was classic."
As it turns out, Jason's plan apparently worked.
"Ah, man, well," Travis continues. "Tay says she absolutely loved you."
Taylor has become a regular fixture at the Chiefs games since making her debut in the suites in September. Each week, the "Cruel Summer" singer has showed up in style as she sometimes sits with her A-list squad as well as Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes, and Jason and Travis' parents, Donna and Ed Kelce.
As Travis hopes to end this NFL season at the Super Bowl on Feb. 11, Swift's Eras Tour is gearing back up.
"Taylor and Travis are doing really well," the source said. "They try to spend as much time as they can together. Travis also makes it a point to make sure Taylor feels as comfortable as possible at his home. They have discussed their future as a couple and are excited at the idea of it."
The source added, "Right now, Travis is focused on Valentine's Day and wants to do something fun and special for Taylor."
