Tiger Woods Receives Congratulatory Messages From Justin Bieber, Barack Obama and More Following Masters Win

The golf pro won his fifth Masters Tournament on Sunday.

Tiger Woods got the attention of golf enthusiasts and celebrities everywhere when he won his fifth Masters Tournament on Sunday.

The 43-year-old golf pro received another green jacket, his first since his last Masters victory in 2005, at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, and famous fans took to social media to praise his comeback.

Before Sunday, Woods had not won a major tournament in more than a decade, with his last victory being at the U.S. Open in 2008. This recent big win puts the athlete at 15 career major titles, just three behind Jack Nicklaus.

"I can’t thank my family, friends and fans enough for their support. Having my family by my side today is something I will never forget," Woods tweeted following the Masters. "To not only be able to play again, but to be able to win again, is something I will forever be grateful for. This jacket sure is comfortable."

Everyone from Justin Bieber to former President Barack Obama commented on Woods' achievement. "Tears.. so proud of this man," Bieber posted to Instagram along with a photo of Woods after his winning shot.

"Congratulations, Tiger! To come back and win the Masters after all the highs and lows is a testament to excellence, grit, and determination," Obama tweeted.

In addition to the pop star and politician, Jada Pinkett Smith, Hugh Jackman and a slew of other stars sent congratulatory messages to Woods.

Even Nicklaus tweeted: "A big 'well done' from me to @TigerWoods! I am so happy for him and for the game of golf. This is just fantastic!!!"
