'The Voice' Finale: Mara Justine Wows the Coaches With 'Turning Tables' and 'Piece of My Heart'

The Team Niall singer made her coach proud on Monday's finale.

Mara Justine turned the tables on The Voice season 24 finale!

Competing for coach Niall Horan, the soulful singer took on a cover of one of Niall's favorite ballads ever, Adele's "Turning Tables" -- and made her coach proud.

"It's unbelivable, the growth you've shown in this competition," Niall raved. "That was a big, big Voice moment in my head... I hope you go on to win this thing, you're amazing."

Her former coach, John Legend, had to agree, admitting his regrets that she was no longer on his team.

"It was just so striking an so beautiful," John marveled of Mara's performance. "I absolutely love this performance... You're just showing us everything. I'm so impressed."

Later in the show, Mara returned to the stage with a performance of Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart" that "electrified the room."

"Wow, wow, wow," her coach marveled. "That is out of this stratosphere... This was the perfect song for this exact moment. What a moment hat was."

"You are a powerhouse," Reba McEntire agreed. "So talented, so confident... That's what I love so much."

Mara was one of the first four-chair turns of the season -- winning over the coaches with Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" -- but she first ended up on Team Legend.

She won her Battle with Dusty Springfield's "Son of a Preacher Man," but stumbled slightly in the Knockouts with Badfinger's "Without You." After John didn't select her as the Knockout winner, Niall came through with the steal, and Mara's Playoff performance of Florence + The Machine's "You've Got the Love" earned her the live show ticket.

"Mara's perfect for the live shows, because of the energy she brings," Niall praised during his final Playoff cuts. "The control, the quality of her voice, she's so exciting for this competition."

ET spoke with the coaches on the red carpet ahead of this season's first live show, and all of them marveled at the range of talent they've seen on the show this year.

"The talent this year has just been like, across the board -- all of our teams are pretty insane," Niall raved. "The voices that I have this year are just like, some of the best singers I've ever heard."

John agreed, saying, "The depth of the talent this season is better than I've ever seen it on this show since I've been here."

"This is my eighth season and I've never seen just this level of quality across the board," he continued. "I'm so impressed with our artists this year."

"I have some amazing singers, and I think it's just gonna come down to at this point people start to fall in love with not just the voice, but the person as well," Gwen shared. "It's ridiculous this season. I know we say that every season and it always feels like that, but this one has a particularly tall order."

"I really couldn't tell you [who might win]," Reba agreed.

The Voice's two-part season 24 finale airs Monday, Dec. 18 at 8 p.m. PT/ET and Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 9 p.m. PT/ET on NBC.
