Margot Robbie, Rami Malek, Thandie Newton and more brought Hollywood glamour to London at the 72nd British Academy Film Awards.
While all eyes were on the GRAMMYs red carpet in the States on Sunday, on the other side of the pond, Hollywood's biggest stars flocked to Royal Albert Hall in London for the 72nd British Academy Film Awards.
The last major awards show for film recognition before the Oscars on Feb. 24, the BAFTAs were brimming with many of the famous faces we'll be seeing at the Academy Awards (with the exception of an appearance from the royals) in gorgeous designer wares.
See the stunning fashion moments you can't miss from the British ceremony.
Margot Robbie
The Best Supporting Actress nominee, for her performance in Mary Queen of Scots, was chic in Chanel. Robbie turned heads in a sequined dress accented by large, navy blue-and-black tulle shoulders and hem from the spring/summer 2019 haute couture collection, which took 690 hours to make.
Rami Malek
The winner of Best Leading Actor for his role in Bohemian Rhapsody has been slaying the red carpet all awards season long, and this custom white tuxedo by Louis Vuitton is no exception. We can't wait to see what the Oscar front-runner will wear for the Academy Awards.
Regina King
The If Beale Street Could Talk actress, who is nominated for an Oscar in the Best Supporting Actress category, showed off some leg in a fuchsia pink Atelier Versace gown, Stuart Weitzman heels and Bulgari jewelry.
Kate Middleton & Prince William
The royals were there too! The Duchess of Cambridge donned a bridal-esque, white one-shoulder Alexander McQueen dress, while the duke was handsome in a classic black suit and bow tie.
Lily Collins
The Les Misérables actress was a beauty in blue via a Givenchy couture cropped jacket and Chantilly lace dress and Cartier baubles, paired with a slicked back 'do and dark vampy lip.
Thandie Newton
The Westworld actress can do no wrong and this black-and-white ruffled tulle A-line gown from Valentino's pre-fall 2019 collection is another winner.
Rachel Weisz
The Favourite star, who is also nominated for an Oscar, took home the Best Supporting Actress award in a frothy pastel yellow belted tiered gown by Gucci and Cartier jewelry.
Bradley Cooper
The A Star Is Born actor and director was nominated for five BAFTAs, including Best Actor, Best Direction, Best Film, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Film Music, for which he was awarded as Lady Gaga won two awards for their song, "Shallow," at the GRAMMYs on the same night. Cooper was dapper in a custom Celine black suit and bow tie. You bet we'll see him again on Oscar night, given how he is nominated in three categories.
Mahersala Ali
The Best Supporting Actor winner for Green Book was a complete stud in a snake-printed cocktail jacket, bow tie, buttoned shirt, trousers and patent leather shoes -- all by Tom Ford.
Yalitza Aparicio
The breakout star of Roma wowed in a crimson satin, sweetheart neckline gown by Alberta Ferretti Limited Edition. Aparicio, nominated for an Oscar in the Best Actress in a Leading Role category, loves to go feminine for the red carpet, and we anticipate a princess moment in a few weeks.
Timothee Chalamet
The Best Supporting Actor nominee, for his role in Beautiful Boy, continues to be a breath of fresh air with his unique sartorial choices such as this Haider Ackermann shiny printed, textured jacket and shirt, teamed with black pants and edgy combat boots.
