'The Real Housewives of Dubai' Season 2 Supertease Shows Intense Feuds and New Friendships

'The Real Housewives of Dubai' season 2 premieres on Sunday, June 2, at 9 p.m, ET/PT on Bravo.

The Real Housewives of Dubai cast returns for a dramatic second season, where existing friendships will face challenges, some may end and new connections will form.

On Thursday, Bravo released the supertease trailer for season 2, which shows the ladies finding themselves juggling new dynamics within their group while balancing demanding family lives and thriving businesses. As alliances shift, the women begin to question their loyalties, causing some friendships to fade away.

As previously announced, the season 2 cast includes returning housewives Chanel Ayan, Caroline Brooks, Sara Al Madani, Lesa Milan and Caroline Stanbury, with new housewife Taleen Marie joining the ladies. Saba Yussouf will appear as a "friend of the cast."

The trailer starts with Chanel telling someone, "Say how you feel to somebody’s face," as Sara and Caroline Stanbury tell each other to "shut up" at a dinner.

As Chanel unveils her new cosmetics line, Ayan Beauty, she puts aside her past conflicts with former rival Caroline Stanbury and forms a new alliance. However, as the two grow closer, Chanel's best friend, Lesa, starts to feel uneasy about their burgeoning friendship.

Lesa is under pressure at home and work as she juggles her children's packed schedules with managing her maternity line, Mina Roe. While she turns to Chanel for support, Lesa begins to sense their friendship may not be as stable as she once believed.

Continuing from season one, Caroline Stanbury and her husband, Sergio, are shown talking about the possibility of having a child and visiting a fertility specialist. Caroline asks Sergio if not having a child would be a deal breaker for him. Sergio responds, "I want a baby."

Taleen Marie joins the group through her long-standing friendship with Caroline Brooks. When she unexpectedly forms a bond with Caroline Stanbury, Taleen's loyalty to Caroline Brooks comes under scrutiny.

Meanwhle, Sara introduces a new romantic interest from Germany, but the distance between them could present major obstacles.

Last January, Nina Ali announced that she was stepping away from the series and cited "new challenges" in her life as her reason for leaving the show. The Lebanon-born, Texas-raised lifestyle content creator, who's lived in Dubai for more than a decade, showcased her life on the series alongside her husband, Munaf, and their three children.

"It was an honor to be a part of the debut season of The Real Housewives of Dubai, and to help @bravotv bring this beloved franchise to the city I call home. I’m grateful to the network, Andy Cohen, and the team at Truly Original for welcoming me into this extended family and for embracing the diversity of riches Dubai has to offer," Ali wrote in an Instagram post. "2023 has already brought many exciting opportunities my way, including an emerging new business, new home and new adventures, so for now I’ll be moving my attention away from the show to allow myself the space to focus on new challenges."

"I wish my fellow Housewives all the best moving forward. I’ll be cheering you on! ♥️💫," she added.

Ali was met with well wishes in the comments from her Bravo family, including Brooks, who wrote, "If I try to put into words how much I love and care about you it will take a lifetime. My Ninzzzzz ♥️," and Bravo, which showed it support for the TV personality by leaving behind a red heart emoji.

Ali, an original member of the show, spoke to ET ahead of season 1's premiere about what the United Arab Emirates thinks of the Real Housewives franchise.

"This is a first to the region," Ali shared in May 2023. "So, I think a lot of people -- the ones that know Housewives understand it, and the ones who don't, there's this misconception that the Housewives of Dubai means that literally, housewives sitting at home, ironing and cooking and going to Waitrose down the street, but it's not."

She continued, "I think that's where some of the misconceptions comes, 'cause here they are, they see six very successful women on their screen and they're like, 'That's not a housewife, I know she has a business and I know this.' So, I think that a lot of people will actually be surprised when they do finally see the show and realize, 'Guys, we're not, like, literally housewives.'"

The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 premieres on Sunday, June 2, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Then, beginning Tuesday, June 11, the series will move to its regular timeslot of Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.  Episodes will stream next day on Peacock.
