Jenn Tran's season of 'The Bachelorette' kicks off with a NSFW shocker, streaking and a 'feral' kiss.
Jenn Tran's journey for love is officially underway! On Monday, season 21 of The Bachelorette premiered, and the drama was quick to follow.
"I acknowledge that going on The Bachelorette to find love is not the traditional way to find love, but I'm not really a traditional girl in the first place," the first-ever Asian American Bachelorette said in her intro package. "I don't fit any kind of mold. I'm just me."
That was more than enough for Jenn's 25 suitors, who went all out during their limo entrances. First there was Marcus, who almost died while deployed overseas, a French-filled introduction from Marvin followed, before Sam N. confessed to being a "love virgin."
Grant beatboxed, Sam M. celebrated "shot o'clock," Thomas N. gifted Jenn a friendship bracelet, Brendan proved he could handle the heat by eating hot peppers, Tomas A. made an impression with two adorable puppies, and Jonathan showed up "love sick" in a hospital gown, which caused him to moon Jenn as he walked away.
Bachelor Nation star Noah Erb's twin brother, Aaron, made his debut next, followed by a NSFW entrance from Jeremy who arrived in a sports car.
"I know what they say about people who have those types of cars. Overcompensating. But, I wanted to let you know that in fact, I have a really big..." he said before taking a dramatic pause, "like, a really big... d**k."
"Did you just say the p-word?" Jenn questioned with a shocked expression.
The entrances continued on with doctor-to-be Dylan, pedestal carrying John, and a balloon-heavy arrival from Hakeem.
Inside the mansion, the group played truth or dare, which resulted in Austin going streaking, Matt baulking like a chicken, Aaron playing air guitar, and Moze admitting to ghosting people in the past.
After an awkward moment where Brian stole Jeremy's car keys and forced him out of his own vehicle, Jenn decided to award the First Impression Rose to Sam M.
"I couldn't stop thinking about you all night," Jenn told the general contractor. "I don't always pick the right men, but there's something in my gut that's telling me there's something here and I'm really excited about it. I'm really excited to get to know you a lot more."
With that, Jenn had her first kiss as the Bachelorette, and the steamy smooch turned into a full-on make out session.
"It just feels so right. So much tension builds up all night and it just feels nice to let it all out. I feel like I'm floating on cloud nine. I'm feeling so happy," she said. "The kiss is feral, I think. The kiss was really, really good. I feel like I made the right decision in waiting, because this was the kiss that's been building up all night. Definitely worth the wait."
The season's first rose ceremony followed, and Jenn sent home Brendan, Brett, Dakota, Kevin, Matt, Moze and Ricky.
The episode ended with the reveal that the group would be beginning their international journey immediately, as they'd be setting off for Australia the following day.
The Bachelorette airs Mondays on ABC.
