Taylor Swift's childhood pal, Abigail Anderson Berard, is expecting her first child with husband Charles Berard.
Taylor Swift is going to be an auntie again! The "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" singer's longtime best friend, Abigail Anderson Berard, is pregnant.
Berard is expecting her first child with husband Charles after the couple tied the knot in 2022. The 34-year-old mom-to-be shared the news on Instagram with a lyric from Swift's latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.
"I’m having his babyyyy…" she wrote, referencing Swift's song "But Daddy I Love Him." She added a blue heart emoji to the post.
In the accompanying photo, Berard poses in a black shirt secured only by one button while flaunting her bare baby bump and munching on Cheez-Its.
"A good girlfriend for me is someone who is an individual and has something that they are deeply passionate about," Swift told ET back in 2014. "Abigail works with making sure that veterans from World War II get their compensation. Like, she's so passionate about it and it couldn't be more different from my career or Lena [Dunham]'s career, but the fact that she is so passionate about what she does allows her to be able to relate to me on that level, that I'm so dedicated to what I do."
Berard is currently listed as the Chief of Staff, Corporate Development for Celero, a high-tech payment processing solutions company.
Swift and Berard met in high school, with the songstress sharing details about their history on her 2008 Fearless hit, "Fifteen."
"You sit in class next to a red-head named Abigail / And soon enough you're best friends," Swift sings on the track. "Laughing at the other girls / Who think they're so cool / We'll be out of here as soon as we can."
Swift went on to serve as a bridesmaid in her BFF's first wedding to Matt Lucier in 2017. The former couple split in 2021.
According to Us Weekly, Swift was recently in attendance at Berard's birthday celebration in Los Angeles earlier this year. The star was photographed having dinner with a group inside Barney's Beanery -- without boyfriend Travis Kelce in tow -- on April 4, with the pictures later published by TMZ. The outlet reported that Swift picked up the tab that night.
One year prior, Berard shared an adorable photo of her and Swift engaged in a fit of giggles as she celebrated her birthday in 2023.
"‘Cause when you’re… 33 🦊," she wrote at the time, referencing the "Fifteen" chorus.
Swift did not appear to react to Berard's new pregnancy announcement post, as she's currently overseas performing her Eras Tour in Germany. She's set to take the stage in Munich on Saturday and Sunday.
Last year, Anderson was spotted in the crowd singing along to "Fifteen" as she supported Swift at her Eras Tour stop in Nashville, Tennessee.
