'Last time I checked I've looked like this my whole life,' she wrote on Instagram Stories.
Heather Rae Young is clapping back at haters who are comparing her to Christina Anstead, the ex-wife of her new boyfriend, Tarek El Moussa.
It all started when the Selling Sunset star took to Instagram Stories on Thursday, prompting her followers to ask her questions while she was "jet lagged and awake."
Heather answered a variety of questions, including a bold one from a fan who asked, "Are you trying to look like Christina?"
"How would I be 'trying to look like someone?'" the blonde beauty wrote. "Last time I checked I've looked like this my whole life."
"Yes, that's my ultimate goal and I even rushed to a doctor to change my whole appearance!!!" she jokingly added. "Come on guys... let's stop being ridiculous."
Another follower then asked, "Do you and Christina get along pretty well?"
"Yes we do :))," Heather replied.
As more questions started flooding in, Heather praised those who kept things positive in regards to her romance with Tarek and her amicable friendship with Christina. "You're amazing! I married a man with children and you're doing incredible," one fan exclaimed. "Proud of you."
"Now these are the messages I love getting," Heather wrote in response. "Thank you. It's been an adjustment but soooo fulfilling."
As previously reported, Tarek confirmed his relationship with Heather in August. He was previously married to Christina (his Flip or Flop co-star) from 2009–2018. They share two children together, daughter Taylor and son Brayden.
Speaking with ET in September, Tarek shared the story about how he first introduced Heather to Christina.
"It all worked out great. I kind of threw that at them last minute," he shared. "I didn't tell [Christina] much. I was like, 'Hey, you're going to meet my friend' and 'Hey, you're going to meet my ex-wife.' I threw them together in the same room. Next thing I knew they were talking about vegan food and running, so it worked out great."
