The show will debut on HGTV in early 2025.
Who says exes can't be friends?
Christina Hall and Tarek El Moussa are reuniting for a new TV show on HGTV that follows their massively successful series, Flip or Flop.
According to the network, Tarek, 42, and Christina, 40, are teaming back up along with their respective new spouses -- Selling Sunset star Heather Rae El Moussa and Josh Hall -- to go head to head in a new flipping competition program, The Flip Off.
HGTV shares that the premise of the show -- which is set to premiere in early 2025 -- follows the couples competing to "see who can find, buy, renovate, and flip a house for the biggest financial gain, and the chance at bragging rights."
The Flip Off comes three years after Flip or Flop ended its 10-season run for the former couple to focus on their personal lives and individual shows. At the time, the HGTV personalities were starring in Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa and Christina on the Coast, respectively.
Tarek's show wrapped its third season in December while Christina recently finished shooting a new season of Christina in the Country and received a season 4 renewal for Christina on the Coast. Additionally, Tarek and Heather, 36, have a show called The Flipping El Moussas which was also recently renewed for another season.
Tarek married the Oppenheim Group real estate agent in 2021 and in February 2023, the pair welcomed a son, Tristan.
Following her divorce from Tarek, Christina married Ant Anstead in 2018 and gave birth to a baby boy of her own, Hudson, in 2019. She and Anstead divorced in 2021, however. In 2022, Christina remarried and has been living in wedded bliss with Josh -- a 43-year-old real estate agent -- since.
Tarek and Christina finalized their divorce in 2018 after very publicly splitting in December 2016. The pair married in 2009 and welcomed two children together, 13-year-old Taylor and 8-year-old Brayden, during their relationship.
The announcement of the new show comes just hours after Tarek -- alongside his ex-wife and current partner -- teased something to come in a hilarious video poking fun at fans who get Heather and Christina confused.
The video features Heather and Christina side by side, playfully introducing themselves using each other's names, clad in matching black tops and ripped blue jeans.
"Must be all that bleach," Christina quips as her ex chimes in, "Well, I guess it is confusing."
When the couple made the decision to end their show back in 2022, Christina indicated that after dozens of renovations and properties sold together, both married and separated, it was time to step away in order to rediscover her love of flipping on her own.
"I have something I want to talk to you about," Christina -- who was engaged to Josh at the time -- told Tarek. "I feel like it's not really fair to you or myself to continue house flipping with you."
"Have you really thought about this?" he asked her in one of the final episodes of the show.
"I've thought about it a lot," she replied. "I thought about it more on the last trip to Tennessee and I think it's what's best. I can't be at these houses for you like I should. It's been an amazing run. There's been ups and downs, but it's mostly been fun."
"I do wish her the best of luck, but, you know, sometimes in life change can be good for everybody," Tarek later said in a confessional.
