What happens when your co-worker/maybe-friend comes over hours before your party?
On Thursday's episode of Superstore, Amy (America Ferrera) attempts to prove she's doing just fine post-divorce by hosting her annual Golden Globes viewing party alone. But the task quickly becomes too much for one person, forcing the Cloud 9 manager to begrudgingly enlist the help of Dina (Lauren Ash) and Jonah (Ben Feldman).
In ET's exclusive sneak peek from the episode, Dina arrives three hours before Amy's party is set to begin, catching Amy -- who was in the middle of vacuuming -- by surprise. Dina doesn't waste a second listing off all the things that need to be corrected in the house for the party to pass the Dina-approved test.
"Guess we are going to have to prioritize this. Why don't you tackle the walls and I'll try and do something about that smell. Where's the white vinegar and ammonia kept?" Dina asks, causing Amy to deny the existence of a phantom odor. "This is classic us. I try to improve you. You fight it. Ultimately, you submit and are better for it!"
When Amy insists she's not going to her own Globes party in sweats, Dina has the best response ever: "We're going to make a swan out of you yet. Why don't you go change? I'll do a quick vibrator sweep." At least she has her priorities straight.
