The minor league baseball player and the singer ended the year by giving back to the New Orleans community on Dec. 31. Along with Tebow's fiancée, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, the pair joined the 2019 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team to refurbish athletic facilities at Einstein Charter School.

On Dec. 5, the couple's Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation, an organization improving the lives of kids and families in the Bay Area, announced its partnership with No Kid Hungry, a national campaign to end childhood hunger in America, that hopes to address childhood hunger in Oakland and all across the U.S. To kick off the partnership, Eat. Learn. Play. will match every donation made to No Kid Hungry to help provide up to 2.5 million meals.The ultimate goal is to raise 10 million meals for hungry kids by Dec. 31.

The Blue Bloods star helped Target celebrate 10 years of its Heroes & Helpers program in Edgewater, New Jersey, on Dec. 4. This holiday season, Target will host nearly 400 of these events at stores nationwide, pairing first responders with kids to buy holiday gifts for their families.

The Queer Eye star joined Pizza Hut and literacy partner First Book to announce the Literacy Project Fundraiser, which aims to increase access to culturally representative children’s books in communities across the country. In honor of Giving Tuesday, the "Don't Let Her" singer donated 100% of the proceeds of his packed Listening Room Cafe show in Nashville on Nov. 3 to HOPE International via his Be a Craig Fund. In total, Hayes' non-profit donated $10,000 to HOPE International, an organization investing in the dreams of families in the world’s underserved communities through service and loans that aim to restore dignity and break the cycle of poverty.

The rapper and his Leading by Example Foundation hosted an inaugural Thanksgiving dinner at the YMCA Wade Walker in Atlanta, Georgia, on Nov. 26. 21 Savage served over 300 families in his hometown, Dekalb County, alongside his mother, Heather, and additional family and friends. He took photographs with youth at the event and personally served hot meals like turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese.

The "Not Over You" singer and the Murder Mystery star bonded at the 10th Anniversary Thirst Gala, presented by the Thirst Project, in Beverly Hills on Sept. 28. The theme of the night was a celebration of life and paying it forward, with DeGraw performing and Sandler teaming up with Bryce Dallas Howard to discuss the power of young people to affect change and present the Power of Youth Award to this year's winner, high school student Diana Baliscao.
David Copperfield
The magician owns a resort in the Bahamas called Musha Cay, and he's been hands on in the relief effort on the islands ever since Hurricane Dorian hit in late August, partnering with the All Hands and Heart organization and even personally providing supplies in the region and helping to prepare meals for those who've suffered major loss after the natural disaster. Copperfield took to Instagram on Sept. 23 to share some of the work that's been going on in the Caribbean, which has also included help from Chef Jose Andres. "Truly humbled by the work of this man & his team @chefjoseandres @wckitchen ????? ," Copperfield shared. "In times like these we need to unite, spread the love, and care by doing what we can one gesture at a time. It was a great experience working with the #WorldCentralKitchen last week. I’m looking forward to continuing our relief effort for the Bahamas with them & @allhandsandhearts Jose Andres & his team have served over 280,000 meals in the Bahamas & continue to support communities in Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Tijuana, etc. My heart is full ❤️ thank you, Jose."

In mid-August, the Scandal alum traveled to Puerto Rico with Americares, a health-focused relief and development organization he's supported for nearly two decades, to see how their Hurricane Maria recovery work is going. Since the 2017 storm, Americares has delivered $40 million in aid to PR.

In conjunction with his Leading by Example Foundation, the GRAMMY-nominated rapper hosted the fourth annual Issa Back 2 School Drive in his hometown of Atlanta on Aug. 5. With help from New Era and Puma, Savage gifted over 2,300 backpacks stuffed with uniforms, school supplies and sneakers to his community in Decatur, plus volunteers and sponsors helped provide kids with free haircuts, hairstyles and health screenings.

The Hispanic radio legend was flanked by kid entrpreneurs Brandon and Sebastian Martinez, who are 13 and 11, respectively. Santos will be producing the Martinez siblings' podcast, Are You Kidding, which aims to inspire other kids to find creative ways to give back and benfit Stand Up to Cancer.

The "Love You Anymore" singer met the young people and staff from New York’s Hetrick-Martin Institute, the nation’s oldest and largest LGBTQ youth-serving agency, before his second sold-out show at Madison Square Garden in New York City in mid-July. "I so respect the great work HMI does for the underserved LGBTQ kids," Bublé, a longtime supporter of the program, said.

The Bachelor star gave a young St. Jude patient named Quincy a high-five during the 2019 Danny Thomas Celebrity-Am golf tournament for St. Jude Children's Hospital, which took place at Spring Creek Ranch in Collierville, Tennessee, on July 24.

The former Nickelodeon star performed at Pepperdine University in Malibu on July 20 for the Thirst Project's inaugual three-day Legacy Summit, which celebrated the impact of student and teacher leaders around the country. The non-profit is the world's largest youth-led water activism organization and have raised over $10 million over the last 10 years to provide safe, clean and drinkable water to nearly 400,000 people around the globe.

The GRAMMY-winning band and Alaska natives performed at a rally to override the governor's threats to veto funding for programs like early childhood education, mental health resources, funding for the arts, Medicaid and programs for homeless Alaskans at the Alaska Airlines Center in Anchorage on July 9.

Smokey Robinson spent the day touring St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on July 2. He taught adorable St. Jude patients a Temptations song as part of the Music Gives to St. Jude Kids initiative. “It means the world to me to be able to spend time with these amazing kids and experience the joy that music brings to their faces,” Robinson said. “There is magic in song and the ability to harness that magic to help heal your mind and body is truly a gift."

Jillian Michaels recently visited refugees in the Democratic Republic of the Congo with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. Michaels became involved with UNHCR because of her desire to shed light on the plight of the men, women and children forced to flee from violence and conflict. Fixer Upper duo Chip and Joanna Gaines visited St. Jude's Children's Hospital on June 19 in partnership with Target. The Gaines family and Target hosted a garden-themed party for St. Jude patients. At the end of their visit, they presented the hospital with a check for $1.5 million from the social media fundraising campaign called #chipinchallenge and revealed a brand new playhouse for patients designed by the couple themselves.

The fun three-day event included a bowling match, visits to patients at Children's Mercy Hospital and a softball match, which is where the Avengers: Endgame star posed for a pic with his former co-star on June 7. The outings were a resounding success, as Big Slick raised a record $2.5 million for pediatric cancer research at Children's Mercy.
Jenifer Lewis and Taraji P. Henson
The Empire star cheered on speakers during the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation's inaugural "Can We Talk" Benefit Dinner in Washington, D.C., on June 7. Lewis was honored with the first-ever "I Rise" Award during the evening, which Henson hosted, for her philanthropic efforts in erasing the stigma around mental illness. Henson founded the non-profit in 2018 in honor of her father, who suffered with mental health challenges stemming from a tour of duty during the Vietnam War; BLHF works to change the perception of mental illness within the African-American community.
Bev and Miranda Lambert and Dan and Abby Smyers
The "Vice" singer enlisted her mom as well as the Dan + Shay singer and his wife for a doggone good time, with Lambert leading a mile-long MuttNation Mutt March from Nissan Stadium to the Walk of Fame Park in Nashville on June 6. "To the uninitiated, it probably sounded like dogs barking. But to me, knowing the pure joy that comes with owning a rescue dog -- or eight -- it was music to my ears,” the 35-year-old country crooner said of the walk. Additionally, over three days during the 2019 CMA Fest, 61 dogs were adopted, which truly made the 10th anniversary of the MuttNation Foundation, which the Lamberts founded in 2009, special.

On May 29, the Lord of the Rings actor learned from traditional dancers at the office of the Youth Association in Coalizao during his four-day trip to Mozambique. The UNICEF ambassador visited the country to help aid workers support families in the country, where 1.1 million children remain in urgent need of humanitarian assistance following the devastation of tropical cyclones Idai and Kenneth.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas
In mid-May, the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador visited Ethiopia to meet refugee children who have fled their countries due to conflict and humanitarian crises. Chopra Jonas met children and young people living in the Bambasi, Hitsats and Adi-Harush camps, where more than 70,000 refugees largely from Sudan and Eritrea currently reside. "Children uprooted from their homes by war and disaster endure the most disruption to their lives,” the Quantico alum said. “They miss out on education, healthcare and stability, which makes them extremely vulnerable to violence, abuse or exploitation.” The recently married actress hoped to bring some light and love to Ethiopia during her visit, where in total there are 900,000 refugees, making it the second-largest refugee population in Africa while encouraging education. To that end, UNICEF is supporting the government in training teachers, supplying books and building schools so young people can go to school, regardless of their migration status.
