Which of your favorite reality TV couples made it work?
'The Golden Bachelor' Season 1 - Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner
The couple got engaged in Season 1 of The Golden Bachelor and married in January 2024.
In an interview with Good Morning America, the reality TV star and his wife, who he married in a televised ceremony on ABC, shared on April 12, 2024 that they are ending their marriage after three months.
As for what led to their divorce, Gerry said, "The thing that strikes me the most in our conversations it's been how dedicated both of us are to our families… I think both of us feel like it's best for the happiness of each of us to live apart."
'The Bachelor' Season 28 - Kelsey Anderson and Joey Graziadei
The couple got engaged on the season 28 finale of The Bachelor in March 2024.
Joey Graziadei has handed out his final rose! After the tennis pro popped the question to Kelsey Anderson on the season 28 finale of The Bachelor, ET's Denny Directo spoke with the couple about their love story and their future.
"I'm just so pumped we get to tell everyone, post pictures, ride in the same car together," Kelsey told ET. "... We made a shared note and we had a bunch of things that we wanted to do together once we were out of hiding. There were big things on it and little things on it, but I'm excited to tackle all of them."
'The Bachelorette' Season 19 - Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko
Charity Lawson has found her perfect match! In August 2023, on the season finale of The Bachelorette, the child and family therapist got engaged to Dotun Olubeko, a Brooklyn-based integrative medicine specialist.
The couple's engagement followed a difficult week for Charity, who sent home Aaron after he surprised her in Fiji, before having a heartbreaking split with her runner-up, Joey Graziadei.
'The Bachelorette' Season 18 - Rachel Recchia and Tino Franco
Rachel Recchia and Tino Franco's engagement was short-lived. After the pair's engagement was shown on the season finale of The Bachelorette, footage filmed during a so-called happy couple weekend revealed how things ultimately came to an end.
Infidelity had taken place in the relationship on Tino's end. The girl he kissed, Tino revealed, was someone he met before going on the show, though they never went on a date. They ran into each other post-show and caught up, before Rachel and Tino had a bad phone call.
'The Bachelorette' Season 18 - Gabby Windey and Erich Schwer
Gabby Windey and Erich Schwer reportedly called it quits in November 2022.
According to multiple reports, they broke up less than two months after their engagement aired on The Bachelorette finale.
Chatter of trouble in paradise for the former couple began circulating in October 2022, when fans noticed that Gabby wasn't wearing her engagement ring while competing on Dancing With the Stars.
Viewers also pointed out that Erich hadn't been in the DWTS audience to support Gabby since early on in the competition. On top of that, Erich hadn't appeared on Gabby's Instagram since Oct. 12, and she hadn't been on his since the day prior.
'The Bachelor' Season 26 - Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar
Zach Shallcross has found his happy ending! In March 2023, on the season finale of The Bachelor, the 26-year-old tech executive popped the question to Kaity Biggar, a 27-year-old ER nurse.
Zach then confirmed that he and Kaity will move in together in Austin, Texas, a city that they both called home before the show. Wedding planning, though, is on hold, at least for the time being.
'The Bachelorette' Season 18 - Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya
Nayte Olukoya and Michelle Young called it quits in June 2022, less than a year after the pair's engagement played out on the December 2021 season finale of The Bachelorette.
Nayte took to his Instagram Story to share a 15-point message denying allegations and speculation that he'd cheated on his former fiancée, and answering questions about the split.
'The Bachelor' Season 26 - Clayton Echard and Susie Evans
The season ended with Susie Evans rejecting Clayton Echard, but it was revealed on the After the Final Rose special that they had gotten back together. They moved in together in Virginia Beach in April 2022.
But in a joint Instagram post in September 2022, the pair announced they were going their separate ways.
'The Bachelorette' Season 17 - Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes
Blake Moynes proposed to Katie Thurston in the season finale. They announced their mutual split. Katie Thurston announced in 2021 that she was dating John Hersey. She confirmed their breakup in June 2022.
'The Bachelor' Season 25 - Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell
Matt James did not propose to Rachael Kirkconnell instead they began a relationship. On After the Final Rose special, it was confirmed that James had ended the relationship after Kirkconnell's racially insensitive past came to light. James confirmed that he and Kirkconnell were back together and they are still together as of July 2022.
'The Bachelorette' Season 16 - Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark
After taking over Bachelorette duties from Clare Crawley -- who found her happy ending quicker than anyone expected -- Tayshia Adams got to know the remaining men of season 16, as well as a few newcomers. She hit it off with a few, even telling ET that she fell in love with "multiple" men, but had a connection with Zac from the very beginning. Ultimately, Tayshia sent runners-up Ivan Hall and Ben Smith home before the final rose ceremony, knowing that Zac was the one. They shared "I love yous," he proposed and she happily accepted.
However, the pair called it quits in November 2022 and ended their engagement, Tayshia's rep confirmed to ET.
'The Bachelorette' Season 16 - Clare Crawley and Dale Moss
One of the most shocking turns in Bachelor Nation history, Clare Crawley was the Bachelorette for just two weeks of filming when she called it all off, declaring she had found her man in ex-NFL player Dale Moss. The pair hit it off from night one and their connection was obvious -- even to the other men on Clare's season. After "blowing up The Bachelorette," as host Chris Harrison put it, Clare and Dale had their first one-on-one, declared their love for each other, he proposed, and she accepted. No hometowns, no fantasy suites, no big dramatic finale.
In Sept. 2021 Clare Crawley and Dale Moss have called it quits. Following a months-long reconciliation, the Bachelorette alums have broken up, according to multiple reports.
'The Bachelor' Season 24 - Peter Weber and Hannah Ann Sluss (and Madison Prewett)
The 24th Bachelor had a tumultuous finale week -- wrestling with his feelings for both Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett -- however, his choice seemed to get easier when Madison left Australia before Peter could hand out his final rose, saying that the two were "very different people." (That fantasy suite ultimatum didn't seem to help matters, either.)
While Peter ended up getting down on one knee for Hannah Ann, the engagement didn't last long. Peter confessed he was still "struggling" with residual feelings for Madison, and Hannah Ann got fed up with waiting for him to come around. She blamed him for spoiling her first engagement and the pair split. However, thanks to some string-pulling by host Chris Harrison, Peter and Madison ultimately reunited (yes, this all happened during his two-part finale), pledging to take their relationship "one day at a time" -- much to the chagrin of Peter's mother, Barb.
The reunion didn't last long, however. In one of the quickest post-finale splits in recent Bachelor memory, Peter took to Instagram on March 12 to reveal that the pair were no longer together. "Madi and I have mutually decided to not pursue our relationship any further. Believe me this was not easy for either of us to be ok with, but after a lot of honest conversations, we have agreed that this is what makes most sense for the two of us," he wrote, in part. "The love and respect I have for Madi will continue to endure."
'The Bachelorette' Season 15 - Hannah Brown and Jed Wyatt
Hannah Brown accepted Jed Wyatt's musical proposal at the end of her Bachelorette season, but unfortunately, the finale drama didn't end there. After learning more about Wyatt's ex-girlfriend's claims that they were in a relationship until he left for the show -- even sharing "I love yous" and vacationing together -- and confronting him about his side of the story, Brown revealed on After the Final Rose that the pair were no longer together.
Brown later reunited with runner-up Tyler Cameron at the end of the finale and asked him out for a drink, to try and get to know each other better as "normal people." The pair even quarantined together during the early days of the coronavirus pandemic and supported each other through traumatic family events in 2020, but shared on Hannah's YouTube channel that they were still just friends.
'The Bachelor' Season 23 - Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph
Colton Underwood made history when he was announced as the first virgin Bachelor, and the women of Season 23 battled it out for his heart. Colton ultimately fell for Cassie, but when their relationship dramatically derailed, his chance at love seemed to fly out the window (or jump the fence, one might say).
The Bachelor finale saw Colton and Cassie reuniting and making it to the fantasy suite where he may have lost his virginity -- which was this season's version of a marriage proposal, it seems.
However, Colton did tell Chris Harrison during the After the Final Rose special that they are "in love," and Cassie said marriage is "definitely something we've talked about." The pair dated for a year and a half before splitting up in May 2020.
In September 2020, Cassie was granted a temporary restraining order against Colton. A source close to the situation told ET at the time that Randolph and Underwood were trying to stay friends after announcing their split. According to the source, Randolph later began to receive strange texts from an unknown number, and allegedly found a "tracking device" on her car. The source told ET that Randolph confronted Underwood and he admitted to “everything.”
'The Bachelorette' Season 14 - Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen
For Bachelorette Becca, her emotional season finale featured a romantic proposal from season-long frontrunner Garrett, as well as a tear-soaked meltdown from runner-up Blake Horstmann. However, Becca wasn't going to let anything keep her from enjoying her special moment with Garrett, who got her final rose. Though Becca admitted that her relationship with Blake was strongest week after week, she realized that she couldn't picture her life without Garrett. That only intensified after he met her family, who all agreed that Becca's late father would be a big fan of the 29-year-old. Becca's feelings for Garrett intensified during their final date, and though she struggled with her decision to let Blake go, she couldn't have been happier to begin her life with Garrett.
The pair made their first appearance as a couple on After the Final Rose, where they gushed about finally getting to be out together in public after hiding their relationship for the past 10 weeks. They dated for two years, but in late August 2020, Becca revealed on her Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that the two had called it quits.
'The Bachelor' Season 22 - Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham (and also Becca Kufrin)
Arie Luyendyk Jr. made Bachelor history during his season, but not in the best way. After narrowing the field of women vying for his attention down to Lauren Burnham and Becca Kufrin, the 36-year-old Bachelor told both women that he loved them, and all-but promised both that he was going to choose them -- and in a way, he sort of did.
During the shocking season finale, Arie sent Lauren home in tears with an unexpected breakup, and ended up popping the question to Becca, which she excitedly accepted. But where most seasons end, this finale continued, showing unedited footage shoot weeks after the proposal.
As it turns out, Arie had a change of heart and called off the engagement, telling Becca that he thought he was more in love with Lauren and wanted to try to work things out with her -- leaving Becca shocked and sobbing in a bathroom.
During After the Final Rose, Arie revealed that he managed to reconnect with Lauren and ended up proposing to her live during the show, which she accepted. However, things worked out nicely for Becca, who host Chris Harrison revealed as the next Bachelorette.
Arie and Lauren married in Hawaii on Jan. 12, 2019, and welcomed their first child, daughter Alessi Ren, in May of the same year.
'The Bachelorette' Season 13 - Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo
Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo called it quits. The former couple, who met and became engaged on The Bachelorette during the show's 13th season in 2017, have been married for four years.
According to court docs obtained by ET, Abasolo filed the divorce papers and is requesting spousal support. He lists the date of separation as Dec. 31, 2023 and claims their home in North Hollywood, California, as community property.
The duo married on Aug. 24, 2019 with a destination wedding in Mexico. They do not have any children.
'The Bachelor' Season 21 - Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi
After trying to find love in Bachelor Nation four different times, Nick Viall finally got engaged! The 36-year-old reality star got down on one knee and proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi with a Neil Lane sparkler during the final moments of the three-hour season 21 finale.
Five months later, however, the couple announced that they had called off their engagement, telling ET in a statement, "It's with a great amount of heartbreak for the both us as we have decided to end our engagement. We gave this relationship our all and we are saddened that we did not get the fairytale ending we hoped for."
"We will continue to be there for each other no matter what," the statement continued. "This hasn't been an easy decision, however, as we part ways, we do so with lots of love and admiration for each other."
'The Bachelorette' Season 12 - JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers
Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher seemingly made her decision early on in the season, choosing former NFL quarterback Jordan Rodgers to receive the coveted first impression rose. But fans were still left in suspense as she decided between Jordan and Robby Hayes in the season 12 finale.
"I love you so much. I've been waiting to tell you that I love you," JoJo confessed to Jordan just before he proposed.
"You made me believe that love doesn't need to have scripts, there's not one way to draw it up," Jordan told his future wife just before getting down on one knee and presenting her with a gorgeous Neil Lane engagement ring. "I'm so unbelievably in love with you. You're my best friend, you're my soulmate...I'm going to wake up every morning and choose you, over and over and over again."
JoJo and Jordan are still together.
'The Bachelor' Season 20 - Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell
Bachelor Ben proposed at the end of season 20, and Lauren moved to Denver, Colorado, with him shortly thereafter.
However, on May 15, 2017, the two revealed in a joint statement that they had called it quits. "It is with heavy hearts that we announce our decision to go our separate ways,” read the statement. “We feel fortunate for the time we had together, and will remain friends with much love and respect for one another. We wish nothing but the best for each other, and ask for your support and understanding at this time.”
'The Bachelorette' Season 11 - Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth
After a dramatic season, Kaitlyn Bristowe cut off suitor Nick Viall's proposal to tell him her heart was with someone else -- Shawn Booth.
"I know that this has not been easy on you I have to be honest with you and tell you the truth," she told Booth, presenting him with the final rose. "And the truth is that I never want you to question what we have ever again because I am completely yours and I will always be faithful to you and I have been waiting so long to tell you how I feel because I love you with all of my heart."
"You have exceeded all my expectations, more than I could have ever imagined," Booth replied, popping the question with a gorgeous Neil Lane ring. "Kaitlyn Bristowe, will you marry me?"
Kaitlyn and Shawn announced their breakup in November 2018, after three years together.
“After three incredible years, we have decided to go our separate ways. This difficult decision comes after thoughtful, respectful consideration. Even though we are parting as a couple, we’re very much committed to remaining friends. We have both evolved as people, which is taking us in different directions, but with the hope that we will continue to support each other in new ways," they said in a statement to ET. "Due to the nature of how we met, our relationship has always been very public, and we have enjoyed sharing it with all of you, but we ask that you respect our decision and our privacy at this time.”
'The Bachelorette' Season 11 - Britt Nilsson and Brady Toops
While not an "official" Bachelorette couple, Britt and Brady still count because Britt was a Bachelorette, if only for one episode. She and Brady hit it off, so well in fact, that when Britt was not chosen by the suitors as season 11's Bachelorette, Brady decided to drop out of the show and the two began a relationship. Unfortunately, they called it quits in July 2015.
'The Bachelor' Season 19 - Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff
'The Bachelorette' Season 10 - Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray
'The Bachelor' Season 18 - Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell
'The Bachelorette' Season 9 - Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried
Bridal stylist and former Bachelor contestant Desiree Hartstock chose Chris Siegfried at the conclusion of The Bachelorette's ninth season. The couple were married in January 2015 and are parents to two sons.
'The Bachelor' Season 17 - Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici
Entrepreneur and former Bachelorette contestant Sean Lowe married Catherine Giudici in September 2014 and the couple are parents to two sons.
'The Bachelorette' Season 8 - Emily Maynard and Jef Holm
'The Bachelor' Season 16 - Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson
Former Bachelorette suitor Flajnik and Courtney Robertson broke up while season 16 of The Bachelor was airing, but reunited and got engaged for a second time before breaking up for good in October 2012.
'The Bachelorette' Season 7 - Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum
Hebert, who was rejected by Brad Womack in season 15 of The Bachelor, got engaged to J.P. Rosenbaum during the season seven finale, and the two were married on Dec. 1, 2012. The couple are parents to two kids, Fordham and Essie.
In October 2020, after eight years of marriage, the two announced that they had split.
'The Bachelor' Season 15 - Brad Womack and Emily Maynard
Womack, who rejected both finalists in season 11, returned to The Bachelor for a second chance at reality love, selecting Emily Maynard in season 15. The couple, who became engaged in the season finale, broke up while the show was airing, but got back together briefly before splitting for good in May 2011.
'The Bachelorette' Season 6 - Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez
'The Bachelor' Season 14 - Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi
'The Bachelorette' Season 5 - Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski
'The Bachelor' Season 13 - Jason Mesnick and Melissa Rycroft/Molly Malaney
Account executive and former Bachelorette suitor Jason Mesnick originally chose and proposed to Melissa Rycroft, but by the time the season finale of The Bachelor's 13th season had aired, they were broken up and Mesnick had resumed a relationship with runner-up Molly Malaney. Mesnick and Malaney were married in February 2010, and their wedding was broadcast as a nationally-televised Bachelor event, making Mesnick the first Bachelor to make it down the aisle with someone he met on the show. The couple welcomed their first child in March 2013.
