The 'Sister Wives' star posted photos of Garrison as a child on social media following his death.
Christine Brown has taken to social media to share heartfelt memories of Garrison Brown, son of fellow Sister Wives cast member Janelle Brown, following his death at the age of 25.
In an Instagram post shared on Thursday, the 51-year-old realty star reminisced about Garrison's childhood, accompanied by a series of cherished family photos. Captioned with hashtags such as "#alwaysmissingyou" and "#tellyourstory," Christine expressed her love and appreciation for the moments shared with Garrison throughout the years.
"I’ve been scanning all my 35 mm camera film and found some gold mines! He truly blessed our lives," she wrote.
The childhood snapshots depict Garrison as a vibrant and adventurous young boy, capturing moments of innocence and joy spent amid nature and family. From climbing trees to decorating cakes with his mom, Janelle, the images offer a glimpse into Garrison's early years, cherished memories now in the wake of his death.
Last week, Christine took to Instagram to share a video of Garrison building a wooden flower bed for her daughter, Truely Brown.
"Garrison was a wonderful, caring brother who understood Truely's need for a hobby and built her a flowerbed," Christine wrote alongside the time lapse clip. "We'll miss him forever. #gratitude #missyou #loveyou #tellthoseyoulovethatyoulovethem."
Tragically, Garrison was found dead on March 5, of an apparent suicide at his home in Flagstaff, Arizona. The devastating news shook the Brown family to its core, prompting an outpouring of grief and support from fans and loved ones alike.
In a joint statement shared on Instagram later that day, Garrison's parents, Janelle and Kody Brown, expressed their profound sadness at the loss of their beloved son. Describing Garrison as a "bright spot" in the lives of those who knew him, the couple requested privacy as they mourned the unimaginable loss.
Despite the heartache, the Brown family found solace in coming together to honor Garrison's memory in one of their first full-family gatherings in years. Christine's daughter, Mykelti, reflected on the bittersweet reunion in a Patreon post, finding comfort in the shared moments of togetherness amid the sorrow.
In the wake of Garrison's death, the Brown family and fans of Sister Wives have rallied together to support charitable causes in his honor. Donations have poured in for Flagstaff's High Country Humane and Ark Cat Sanctuary, with the humane society pledging to sponsor all cat adoptions for the remainder of March in Garrison's memory. One of Garrison's last post on Instagram was of him and his new adopted cat.
