The 18-year-old actor's lawyer tells ET that 'all of the original charges were in fact dismissed.'
Ethan Cutkosky has pleaded no contest to reckless driving following his DUI arrest last November.
"The prosecution agreed to dismiss all of the DUI charges," the 18-year-old Shameless star's lawyer, Troy Slaten, tells ET. "All of the original charges were in fact dismissed."
Cutkosky entered a plea of no contest to non-alcohol/non-drug related reckless driving, which Slaten says was "added."
"He wasn't originally charged with that," Slaten explains, "so we added that on."
Cutkosky was sentenced to two years informal probation, with a fine of $250 that has already been paid.
ET previously reported that Cutkosky -- who plays the troubled Carl Gallagher on the Showtime series -- was arrested on Nov. 2, 2017, sometime after 10:30 p.m. on suspicion of DUI.
He was arrested and booked into the Burbank City Jail following a DUI investigation and released several hours later on a citation.
