The 35-year-old tennis pro welcomed daughter Alexis Olympia Jr. in September.
Serena Williams is leaning on her community of moms for support.
The tennis pro took to Twitter on Wednesday to crowdsource answers about breastfeeding, and reveal that she gets "emotional" thinking about stopping the activity with her new daughter.
"Fellow moms: How long did you breastfeed? Is it weird that I get emotional when I even just think about when it's time to stop?," she wrote alongside a photo of 3-month-old Alexis Olympia Jr.
Fans quickly responded to the post with their own experiences, including Broadway star Audra McDonald, who wrote, "I nursed my older daughter until she was almost 2. Still going with my 1 year old right now. You’ll know when it’s time to stop. Enjoy! She is beautiful!"
This isn't the first time Williams has asked her fans for input on motherhood. In October, she sparked a conversation after asking about push presents.
