Just like mom Kate Middleton, Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte often repeat outfits for their royal outings.

Kate Middleton is the queen of recycling outfits, and she's passing down her thrifty habits to her kids.

Although the royals have access to endless top designer clothes and accessories, the Duchess of Cambridge is real when it comes to the wear value of her wardrobe. And the same goes for her kids, Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and 11-month-old Prince Louis, who are often spotted repeating outfits and wearing hand-me-downs.

In anticipation of the arrival of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's first child, due at the end of this month (will the baby borrow from her cousins?), we're looking back on the cutest recycled pieces the British royal children donned so far.

Charlotte's Blue Cardigan

In the royal Christmas photo for 2018, Princess Charlotte wore a navy blue cardigan that looked very familiar, and that's because she wore it back in May in a heartwarming pic of the tot kissing her newborn brother, Louis. The button-down knit is actually a hand-me-down piece from older brother George, who wore the sweater in a 2016 Vanity Fair spread next to great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.

Christening Gown

For their christenings, all of Kate's children were dressed in the same traditional lace gown, a replica of the original Honiton gown from 1841. Prince George wore it in October 2013, Princess Charlotte in July 2015 and most recently Prince Louis in July 2018.

George's School Uniform

An outfit that's often in rotation for George is his school uniform, of course! The 5-year-old cutie attends Thomas's Battersea in south London, and his attire includes a light blue shirt, V-neck red-and-dark blue sweater boasting the school's emblem, shorts, ankle socks and black loafers. George was spotted in the outfit outside of Lindo Wing after Kate gave birth to Louis, along with dad Prince William and sister Charlotte, in April 2018.

Charlotte's Blue Babydoll Dress & George's Pinstripe Shirt

For their 2017 Christmas card portrait, the gorgeous family dressed in the theme of blue. Both George and Charlotte sported pieces they've worn before. Charlotte previously donned the printed blue babydoll dress in July 2017 in Berlin, Germany, while George wore the same pinstripe shirt he posed in for his fourth birthday portrait, revealed in the same month.

Charlotte's Red Babydoll Dress & Red Shoes

A babydoll dress with puffed shoulders and smocking is a staple in the little princess' closet. Charlotte was seen in a red printed version in July 2017 along with red buckled shoes as she rode a helicopter with her mom in Hamberg, Germany. About a month prior, the 3-year-old royal wore the same outfit during Trooping the Colour in June.

George's Blue Romper

The British royals had a full circle moment in 2015 when George donned the same light blue frill-trimmed romper Prince William wore when he was a toddler in 1984. They both sported the onesie at Trooping the Colour while being carried by their dads. The photos are adorably almost identical.
