Jason Kelce surprises a Philadelphia Eagles fan wearing his No. 62 jersey in London at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour.
When Jason Kelce sees a Philadelphia Eagles fan, he can't help but smile.
The former Philadelphia Eagles center and his wife, Kylie Kelce, made their first Taylor Swift concert appearance in London with Travis Kelce at Wembley Stadium on Friday. The following day, Jason and Kylie went to The Eras Tour again. That's when he spotted a fan wearing his No. 62 jersey.
In a video of the interaction filmed by Kylie and posted to X (formerly Twitter), Jason sneaks up on the unsuspecting kid, Aiden, and asks him for a picture. The surprised fan appears to be awestruck, with his jaw dropped the entire clip. Jason, who was wearing stacks of friendship bracelets, smiles wide and seems to give Aiden a high-five at the end.
"Just wanna say a massive thank you to @JasonKelce if we did not already know it what a legend you are and for your wife to record it. We will be forever grateful for this interaction, even the shock it caused," Aiden's father, Baz, tweeted, tagging #newheightsshow #eagles @newheightshow #kelce #gobirds.
Baz tweeted two photos from the meeting, penning, "Life goal completed for 2 UK Eagles. Shame I look slack but the camera doesn't lie #jasonkelce #phillyeagles #gobirds @JasonKelce #erastour."
The NFL retweeted the video interaction, writing, "@JasonKelce noticed this fan wearing his jersey at The Eras Tour and surprised him with a picture" next to a teary-eyed emoji and green heart.
The Philadelphia Eagles also posted the video, captioning it "@JasonKelce completely shocked them" alongside a crying laughing emoji.
When the Kelce brothers joined in on the conversation, they added more details to who the fan is.
"Meet Aiden! He is a fan of Jason Kelce's from London. On night 2 of the Eras tour at Wembley, he and his Dad, Baz, went to soak up the atmosphere outside the stadium while his mom & sister had tickets inside," the Kelce brothers tweeted. "Imagine their surprise when Jason Kelce himself spotted Aiden's shirt and snuck up behind them!!! He said 'nice shirt' while handing Aiden a guitar pick and then posing for a photo. And Kylie was filming the whole thing! The look on their faces is priceless!!!"
"Thank you Baz (& Kylie!) for the photos & video!"
Swift performed at London's 90,000-seat Wembley Stadium on June 21-23 and is scheduled to perform there again on Aug. 15-17 and Aug. 19-20. Every show is sold out.
Jason, who retired from playing in the NFL but has joined ESPN as a football commentator, has addressed the intense public focus centered on his family amid his brother's high-profile romance with Swift. The New Heights podcaster appeared on comedian Andrew Santino's Whiskey Ginger podcast earlier this month, where he talked about the fame he and Kylie experience compared to that of Swift and Travis since they went public with their relationship in September.
"Travis and Taylor have taken it to another level and that's a whole other side of it," Jason said. "Kylie and I think we have it bad, and then we go hang out with one of them for a second. This is a whole other situation here. I don’t even know how to, like, you can't be a normal person at that point."
