You can go ahead and just crown her the new queen of Christmas already -- and one stylish royal at that! The 48-year-old singer slayed in 10 different outfits while performing in Tuesday’s holiday special on NBC.
Gwen Stefani is officially the new queen of Christmas!
The 48-year-old singer wowed fans with her NBC special, You Make It Feel Like Christmas, on Tuesday night, but it wasn't just her festive tunes and cute interstitials that made the show worth tuning in to (not that we were upset about Blake Shelton holding up mistletoe or an appearance by "Young Gwen"). She absolutely slay-belled the fashion game with ten amazing performance outfits.
The No Doubt frontwoman kicked off the show as our perfect present, shimmying to the classic "Jingle Bells" in a candy cane-inspired silver-and-red sequined leotard topped with a red bow.
Not only did "When I Was a Little Girl" make us weep, Stefani's mom also cried when her daughter performed it at the taping of the Christmas special. For the nostalgia-ridden ditty, the mom of three opted for a silver short-sleeved high-low dress with a full tulle skirt.
Hello, snowbell! Her "Let It Snow" duet with Seth MacFarlane brought down the house, but it was her flapper-inspired, fringed silver ensemble that included a tiara and silky white gloves that really made our jaws drop. (The special was filmed in early November, and she actually wore a nearly identical costume two weeks later for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.)
Stefani's flirty, glitter-filled "Santa Baby" costume got a thumbs up from Santa Claus himself.
She gave little drummer boys everywhere a run for their money when she sang "Under the Christmas Lights" in a Nutcracker-inspired uniform, complete with green sleeves and red bows, plus a little bit of punk flair with plaid add-ons around her waist, fishnets and thigh-high boots.
Ironically, her real ska sensibilities came out during her duet with country beau Shelton on their seasonal hit, "You Make It Feel Like Christmas." Just check out the crazy high slit on this killer plaid number:
The "Misery" singer was then joined by Ne-Yo, and her pretty pink princess confection was our real love!
She was flanked by dancing gingerbread men and plenty of festive dancers as she showed off her crazy long legs in a sheer, long-sleeved black top, matching black bra and poinsettia-covered apron-like overall skirt. And, yes, that's definitely a silver bow headband atop her head as she's singing "My Gift Is You."
Stefani may have slowed things down with "Christmas Eve," but her strapless, tiered red lace dress by Nedo lit up the stage.
The blonde bombshell appropriately closed out the show singing "White Christmas" while sparkling in a stunning, shimmery gown that featured a sheer long-sleeved top and swingy ethereal skirt. She paired the look with a thick silver headband and silky pumps.
Let's just say the fashion in this special jingle bell rocked.
