The superheroes made the heartwarming appearance to kick off 'Avengers: The Universe Unites,' an epic event for kids' charities.
You don't have to be on the big screen to be a superhero.
Ahead of Avengers: Endgame, Marvel's epic passing of the torch film, ET joined Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson and more stars at they surprised unsuspecting kids at Disney's California Adventure Park for "Avengers: The Universe Unites," a supercharged goodwill event benefiting children's charities.
"The reason that most of us do it is the looks on their faces," Hemsworth told ET. The 35-year-old actor also laughed off the fact that some of the children didn't recognize him out of his Thor garb.
Sometimes you have to explain to them, who are you?" he shared. "'Thor, where's the long hair, hammer and outfit?"
For Johansson, the MCU's Black Widow, giving kids a special moment with their heroes is what's most meaningful.
"I think being able to provide any opportunity for kids to do what they do best, be a kid, is awesome," she explained.
