Samsung debuted its first QD-QLED TV, and ET has all the details on how to get your hands on the new 4K OLED TV.
The rumors are true — Samsung has designed its first-ever QD-OLED TV, which could be its best big screen yet. Combining the best of Quantum Dot with the best of OLED, the S95B uses 2022's highly anticipated QD-OLED screen technology.
Samsung's S95B is powered by the brand's Neo Quantum Processor 4K, the same found in its flagship Neo QLED 8K and 4K TVs. QD stands for the quantum dots that combine with light-emitting diodes that make up the images you see on your TV. In addition to the advanced 4K upscaling, the QD-OLED TV screen creates more realistic colors and brighter tones, so you can enjoy a more detailed, life-like picture.
Officially released today, Samsung's QD-OLED TV promises even better picture quality than the OLED TVs currently on the market. In a recent press release, Samsung said its new S95B QD-QLED TV "features an OLED brightness booster and perceptional color mapping to deliver brighter, more accurate highlights and the most realistic lifelike colors." The new 4K OLED TV is now available in 65- and 55-inch sizes.
