Roger Federer impresses Swifties with a string of emojis that perfectly encapsulate Taylor Swift's eras.
Tennis legend Roger Federer is a secret Swiftie.
After attending Taylor Swift's Eras Tour stop in Zürich, Switzerland, Federer, 42, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a sweet selfie of himself and Swift, 34, smiling from ear to ear with an emoji combination that only a true fan could come up with.
"In my Swiftie era 🦋🫶💜🧣🌃🐍💘🪩🌲🕰️🤍," he captioned.
The emojis are in order of Swift's albums and perfectly encapsulate the vibe of each: 2006's Taylor Swift, 2008's Fearless, 2010's Speak Now, 2012's Red, 2014's 1989, 2017's Reputation, 2019's Lover, 2020's Folklore, 2020's Evermore, 2022's Midnights and 2024's The Tortured Poets Department. In recent years, Swift has re-recorded Fearless, Red, Speak Now and 1989 (these albums are known as Taylor's Version).
The "Cruel Summer" singer snapped the shot with the former pro athlete after the show. She was still wearing her blue bedazzled bodysuit from the Midnights-era finale, with red lipstick and matching flushed cheeks.
In previous footage from the concert, posted via his Instagram Story on Tuesday, Federer flaunted his impressive stack of friendship bracelets.
He also shared a pic with Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi.
Based on Swifties' comments of support for Federer on social media, the fanbase will likely continue to welcome any new sports-fanatics-turned-Swifties -- something they've gotten quite used to since Swift started dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
