From this, to getting engaged to Meghan Markle, there's been a lot of changes in the prince's life!
Prince Harry's life is going through a lot of changes!
Queen Elizabeth II has approved the appointment of the 33-year-old royal as England's next Captain General Royal Marines, Kensington Palace announced on Tuesday. Harry takes over for his grandfather, Prince Philip, who has held the post since June 2, 1953, when he took over for his father, King George VI.
Philip's last act as Captain General was passing the role on to Harry in front of Major General Robert Magowan, Commandant General Royal Marines, and Major General Charles Stickland, Commandant General Royal Marines Designate.
The four then posed for a photo together to mark the occasion.
The new job certainly seems like it will keep Harry busy, in what is already set to be a big year -- with his royal wedding to Meghan Markle!
Last week, the official wedding date for the couple was revealed, with the nuptials scheduled to take place on May 19, 2018 at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.
