Peter Facinelli Makes a Memorable Debut on 'S.W.A.T.': Watch His Intro With Shemar Moore! (Exclusive)

Is there a love triangle brewing? Watch the actor make a splash on Thursday’s episode.

Peter Facinelli is coming to S.W.A.T.

On Thursday’s Christmas episode of CBS’ rookie action drama, titled “Miracle,” Facinelli makes his debut as Michael Plank, the president of the police commission. Only ET has the exclusive sneak peek featuring the first time moment he comes face to face with Shemar Moore’s S.W.A.T. Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson.

The meeting showed Plank as a clear fan of Hondo’s. He even put the idea in his ear that Hondo should "one day" work his way up to Captain. “I appreciate that, but you can say I already have my dream job,” Hondo says, nipping that in the bud for now.

A sudden emergency involving a shooting with an officer in trouble takes Hondo and his commanding officer (and lover), Captain Jessica Cortez (Stephanie Sigman), away from more small talk with Plank. But we’re betting this won’t be the last we’ll see of the powerful commissioner, as it’s hinted that he and Cortez have some history.

And as the episode description teases, Cortez "draws the attention" of Plank when she approaches him with her ideas on how to improve the SWAT division.

S.W.A.T. airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
