Pete Davidson and Madelyn Cline have broken up, ET has confirmed.
A source tells ET, "Pete and Madelyn's relationship has been on and off for months and an ever-changing thing. Things have fizzled out and they are no longer seeing one another."
The Saturday Night Live alum, 30, and the Outer Banks star, 26, had been dating for some 10 months. They were first linked back in September 2023, when it had been reported that "they spent the night together at the Beverly Hills Hotel and then had breakfast together there the next morning."
It's unclear how Davidson and Cline met. The now-fizzled romance came less than a month after Davidson had called it quits with Chase Sui Wonders after nine months of dating.
Though they never confirmed the relationship, there were other clues that Davidson and Cline were dating. The month after their rendezvous in Beverly Hills, she was in the audience at Studio 8H when he returned to the iconic sketch comedy show to host the season 49 premiere.
A source at the time told ET, "Things between Madelyn and Pete seem to be getting more serious. Madelyn sat in the audience next to Pete's family while he hosted SNL last night."
"She looked comfortable with them and seemed happy to be there and proud of him," the source added.
Following Davidson's SNL gig, the then-couple hit up the SNL after-party, held at Catch Steakhouse in the Meatpacking District in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.
It's unclear why exactly the relationship fizzled, but earlier this year a source told ET that Davidson was working to "get back on track" and "focus on himself" after he pulled the plug on his Peacock comedy show, Bupkis, despite the show being green lit for season 2.
A source told ET in March, "Pete is in a good mental place and taking control of things. He's been doing great on his film with Eddie Murphy and has been incredibly professional. He wants to focus on stand-up and film now."
Davidson's romantic escapades as of late have gotten lots of attention, which went into overdrive after he dated Kim Kardashian for nine months before their August 2022 breakup. In fact, Davidson's former SNL co-star, Kate McKinnon, playfully mocked his love life in a Super Bowl ad, which features Mayo Cat's rise to fame. The cute feline gets so famous that she ends up dating -- and dumping -- Davidson, a nod to the comedian's high-profile romances.
"You lasted longer than most," McKinnon tells Mayo Cat after the Davidson breakup.
Davidson was unbothered by the joke, telling ET, "It was hilarious. Hey, it's Kate. She'll always get a free pass."
