ET spoke with the 'Suits' stars on the red carpet at the 81st Golden Globes.
Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty spilled the tea on what happens in the Suits text chain.
Speaking to ET's Kevin Frazier on the red carpet Sunday at the 81st Golden Globes at the Beverly Hilton, Adams confirmed the existence of the text chain but then played coy about what goes down in the text chain. Adams, who played Mike Ross on the hit USA Network series, said the text chain is cool and all, but it does have a flaw.
"Mostly, I'm just trying to get Gabriel [Macht] to respond," Adams quipped. "Honestly, he's slow on the text and he has like six different numbers now because he lives in England. So, we're just trying to find out which number works."
Macht played high-power attorney/the city's best closer Harvey Specter. Macht's wife, the Australian-born actress Jacinda Barrett, also made a few appearances on Suits, as did Adams' wife, Troian Bellisario, who was beside him on the red carpet.
Rafferty, who played Specter's secretary Donna Paulsen, told ET's Nischelle Turner it's been "so nice to see old friends again." As previously reported, the Suits universe is expanding with another legal drama from series creator Aaron Korsh. It won't be a spinoff, revival or reboot, but more in the same vein of the CSI and NCIS franchises. And you can count on Rafferty to eagerly watch like the rest of the Suits fanbase.
"I'm looking forward to being a fan of those, too" she said.
Suits, also starring Meghan Markle (Rachel Zane), Rick Hoffman (Louis Litt) and Gina Torres (Jessica Pearson) -- was the show of the summer in 2023.
