The 34-year-old 'Total Bellas' star is opening up about her breakup.
Nikki Bella is leaning on her sister for support.
The Total Bellas star revealed in a YouTube video on Tuesday that she's been living with her twin sister, Brie Bella, and her family after splitting from John Cena. The video, which is the first time Nikki has opened up about the breakup, comes three days after what would have been her wedding day.
"Staying at Brie’s because you all know why," Nikki said in the video from Brie's San Diego home. "I just wanted to say hi to you guys."
"I know I’ve been MIA and I’ve kind of been hiding out, but I wanted to reach out to you all and thank you all for your love and support," she shared. "Can’t tell you how much it meant to me, especially through a really difficult time."
Nikki and John, who got engaged during WrestleMania 3 last April, called off their engagement in a statement posted to her Instagram account on April 15. The pair's relationship issues played out on Total Bellas, and according to Nikki, their breakup will too.
"It’s a really good season, it’s going to be a tough one for me to watch. Hey, that’s life, right?" Nikki said in her YouTube video. "Again, thank you for all your love and support with all of that. It’s been a tough time. But we can save that for another vlog."
A source told ET last month that the couple split after having disagreements about starting a family.
"Nikki and John truly love each other, but they will never have the same view on a perfect future," the source claimed. "Nikki has always dreamt of having a family of her own and John does not want children and that was the main cause of their breakup. They are both dedicated to their careers, but Nikki wants more than just that."
In an interview with ET last month, John admitted his breakup from Nikki "sucks."
"There's no other way to say [it]," he expressed. "I love Nicole with all my heart, and that's that."
