Nicole Kidman is all about women empowering other women, the younger generation included!
ET's Nischelle Turner caught up with the actress at the Bombshell premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday, where she opened up about why she thinks the "most important thing" a woman in power can do for others is to pass on their "knowledge."
"I've worked now with so many young women, and obviously I'm raising young girls right now," said Kidman, who shares two daughters, Sunday, 11, and Faith, 8, with husband Keith Urban. "If someone came up to my children and was willing to share their knowledge with no agenda, nothing other than just hoping that they have a great life, and in some way help them, I would be so grateful to them as a mother. So, that's what I try to do."
Kidman (who is also mom to Isabella, 26, and Connor, 24, with ex-husband Tom Cruise) portrays Gretchen Carlson in Bombshell, alongside a female-heavy cast of badass women, including Margot Robbie as Kayla Pospisil and Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly.
"We have loads of fun. They both have amazing senses of humor," said Kidman. "They're just up for anything."
ET also spoke with Robbie on the carpet, who echoed Kidman's sentiments.
"I love them, I do. I really love them," she gushed. "You do a movie and you spend all of this time together, and then you promote a movie and you actually spend even more time together. It's nice not to do it alone."
"They've both been amazing mentors," she added, of Kidman and Theron. "I'll never forget, one of the first things Nicole said to me was, 'Any mistakes I have made, let me tell you so you don't have to make them as well.' If this movie shows anything, I hope it shows we're stronger when we stand together."
Bombshell hits theaters on Dec. 20. In the meantime, hear more in the video below.
