The 'Fast & the Furious' star's production company is making the narco-buddy cop drama series the latest classic TV reboot.
Miami Vice is coming back.
Vin Diesel's production company, One Race Television, in partnership with Chris Morgan Productions, is working on a reboot of the 1980s crime cop drama, Variety reports.
While still early in development, Peter Macmanus is signed on to write the script, with him, Diesel, and Morgan among the list of executive producers.

The original show ran five seasons from 1984-1990, and starred Don Johnson and Phillip Michael Thomas in the starring roles.
The move is no surprise with how reboot-ready Hollywood has been in recent years, bringing back nostalgia TV series', such as Full House, and Will and Grace, which was recently announced to be returning to NBC.
