Chris Hemsworth Thinks Charlize Theron Should Be the Next James Bond: 'She Scares the Hell Out of Me'
Forget Idris Elba or Tom Hiddleston -- Chris Hemsworth thinks the new James Bond should be none other than Charlize Theron.
Hemsworth made the case for the Oscar-winning 41-year-old actress in a new video for W magazine, praising both her mental and physical strengths.
"Well, I've made the comment that Charlize Theron should be the next Bond because she scares the hell out of me," Hemsworth says. "And I think she could beat the sh** out of me and most villains out there. She embodies every ounce of strength and nobility and dignity and integrity that that character should have. She's smart as hell. She's physically able."
Hemsworth says he was impressed by Theron when he worked with her on Snow White and the Huntsman.
"You know, working with her on those fight scenes, [and her] doing it in high heels by the way -- and an 8-foot long gown -- was even more impressive," he notes. "And I just think, why not? It's time."
And the 33-year-old Thor star even volunteers to be her Bond boy!
"I could be the Bond man, cool," he says with a smile. "Sure, we could do a little duet of Bonds."
Theron is certainly flexing her action skills in her latest movie, Atomic Blonde, in which she portrays a tough-as-nails international spy. In a recent interview with Variety, the mother of two revealed that during intense training for the film, she ended up with bruised ribs, a twisted knee and even underwent extensive dental surgery after she cracked two teeth.
