The first daughter revealed the news during an interview with '20/20' on Tuesday.
Ivanka Trump and Chelsea Clinton haven't spoken since the 2016 election, but the first daughter plans to reach out to her "good friend" sometime soon.
During an interview with ET in September 2015, Clinton revealed that she was close friends with President Donald Trump's eldest daughter.
"Ivanka and I talk about everything," she said at the time. "I'm so grateful she's my friend. I think she's a great woman, and I support her as I support all my friends."

But now, it appears things have changed. Ivanka told 20/20 on Tuesday that she has not chatted with Chelsea since her father was named 45th President of the United States over Chelsea's mom, Hillary Clinton.
"She's been a friend of mine long before the campaign, of course will be a friend of mine after," Ivanka dished. "I haven't spoken about the specific challenges about this next chapter with her just yet but I intend to."
Before her mother lost the race, Chelsea echoed those words while chatting with ET last July.
"Our friendship didn't start with politics and it will last long after this race is done," she explained.

A few months later, however, the two shared an awkward encounter following a presidential debate that came on the heels of a leaked 2005 recording of now-President Trump making lewd comments about women.
