After more than a year, Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are officially divorced.
In documents obtained by ET, Olivier gave up the title of petitioner to Berry after they both listed themselves as petitioner in their original filings. (In California, only one person can be listed as petitioner.)

The exes will share physical and legal custody of their 3-year-old son, Maceo.
Berry and Martinez initially filed for divorce in October 2015 after two years of marriage. “Due to pending contract and deals, it is important for our marriage to be terminated by January 1, 2017 so that numerous documents do not have to be prepared. All these contract negotiations were initiated long after our separation,” Berry explained in her declaration.
In September, ET reported that the estranged couple's proceedings were in danger of being dismissed by the court, essentially being given an ultimatum after their divorce proceedings had come to a standstill.

The former couple have remained cordial following the split. According to sources, until recently, Martinez had been living at one of Berry's three Los Angeles homes. They also vacationed together with Maceo and Berry's 8-year-old daughter, Nahla, in Mexico last March.
