Jill Scott is a married woman!
The 44-year-old Grammy-winning singer wed Mike Dobson on Saturday. The groom's friend, DJ Mars, posted a few photos of the blissful event on his Instagram page, noting quite a few times that he was just as shocked as apparently everyone to learn he was attending Scott's nuptials.

"So my man called me a year ago and said, 'Mars I need you to DJ my wedding...don't get booked on June 25, 2016!'" he wrote. "He came to my house and gave me the deposit early, but he didn't say he was marrying Jill Scott!!!!! Damn homie!!!!!!!!!!"
Scott looked radiant in a low-cut white gown with lace sleeves, which she paired with a sparkly silver belt and drop earrings. Her elegant updo was adorned with small pearls and a long veil.

Dobson addressed his cheering guests during his big night, with Scott standing my his side, smiling widely and waving a fan. "We love you, we appreciate you," he said in one of the videos posted to Instagram by DJ Mars. "We want to celebrate this night with you. It's not going to end until we say it ends. We're going to dance, we’re going to have some surprises and have a good time."
One of those surprises included a special performance by Big Daddy Kane, which came as a total surprise to Scott, who geeked out when she saw the rapper on the dance floor.

This marks the second marriage for Scott, who was married to Lyzel Williams from 2001 to 2007. She was also previously engaged to musician Li'l John Roberts in 2009, with whom she shares a 7-year-old son, Jett. She has stayed silent about her wedding on social media so far.
