Margaret Cho to Co-Host 'Fashion Police' in 2016

The comedian will be judging what's hot and what's not.

There's a new comedian stepping in to judge what's hot and what's not in celebrity fashion.

It was announced on Thursday that Margaret Cho will join the Fashion Police team as a special co-host alongside Giuliana Rancic, Melissa Rivers and Brad Goreski.

"I love joining the crew of Fashion Police. To me it feels like family. although I am not quite a fashionista, I would love to look at it like I am changing it up - Fashion Police: Special Victims Unit," Cho joked in a statement. "It makes me happiest to spend time with Melissa, and when I see her laugh at my joke, I feel like Joan [Rivers] is smiling, somewhere."

The 47-year-old comedian later tweeted: "I'm so thrilled to be the newest co-host!"

The show will be throwing her right into the all of the action when she starts work on Jan. 10, the day after the Golden Globe Awards. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes will also be in the program's new celebrity guest chair on Cho's debut episode.

Fashion Police
has had quite the turnover of hosts in the past few years. After Joan Rivers' death, Kathy Griffin took over as head host, but left the show after only seven episodes. Kelly Osbourne also exited the program after she seemed to disagree with some controversial comments made by Rancic about Zendaya's hair at the Oscars.
