The 'American Idol' alum was arrested Sunday after allegedly violating an order of protection placed by his girlfriend.
American Idol alum Constantine Maroulis was arrested on Sunday after allegedly violating an order of protection placed against him by his girlfriend Angel Reed.
It's the second time the 39-year-old has been arrested in less than a week. Maroulis was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly getting into a physical altercation with Reed at their home in Wyckoff, New Jersey.
According to Reed, Maroulis sent her inappropriate emails after the alleged fight, violating the terms of the order or protection.
However, Maroulis' rep released a statement to ET refuting Reed's claims that the emails were inappropriate.
"He accidentally emailed her which broke the restraining order and he was arrested and immediately released. It was not a personal email—it was a pure accident," Maroulis' rep alleged.

When Maroulis was arrested last week, his rep refuted Reed's claims in in regards to that incident as well.
Reed, who is the mother of the couple's 4-year-old daughter Malena, claimed that Maroulis threw her to the ground and began to kick her repeatedly.
According to Maroulis' rep, the singer was defending himself. "He did not throw her to the ground or kick her in the groin during this incident. He consequently left their home to protect himself and to diffuse the situation. Sometime later the local police came and arrested him for domestic abuse. He paid a small bail and was released,” the rep said.

"When all the facts come out it will become clear that Mr. Maroulis was the victim here and Ms. Reed was the aggressor," the rep said in a statement.
Maroulis got his big break when he finished as the sixth-place finalist during the fourth season of American Idol in 2005.
